They also need to remove that cheater who claimd to have platinum a day after the release... even though he doesn't even own the game...
For the difficulty question... I can't decide if it's hard or not. I've just completed the game on normal, done the soviets on co-op, and just started the game on hard. Some of the quirks they put on hard really up the difficulty, such as mission 2 which sees balloon bombs randomly dropping onto the battle field, you actually need to instruct your computer co-op buddy... on the other hand... do it with a human player and it's a lot better...
Some of the skirmish trophies are a tad hard, although each one of them has a cheap trick that makes it easy.
It's probably around a 7, just because some missions are hard, even on normal, Mt Fuji for instance, and Pear Harbour is very tricky when going for the bonus objective, in fact, that mission was the first time I ever had to re-pack my MCV and evacuate it to another area because the computer was so relentless. The skirmish/online ranked trophies are also a bit tricky...
It's also got quite a healthy time to complete duration, unless you find a co-op buddy who is a master at the game and he helps you with the skirmish stuff too.

If you complete a level with an online buddy does it still count as completing that level and obtaining the trophy? Or is it single player only for each level trophy?

YES, but when you complete with AI it's NOT counting to that 9, 18 and 27 missions trophy :smug:

Which is why playing through the campaign with someone online, playing on hard difficulty and finishing all bonus objectives in one playthrough minimizes your playing time on the campaigns.
Also do not try and do them trophies that say can be done online via boosting, it will not work as you can't invite friends...

We do this anyway, believe me... finishing campaign 3 times is a bit pain (PC, Hard on my own then co-op)
Bonus objectives are easy and you will do it to make your game easier....
For the last part, we learn on our own misstakes, are we comrade? :devilish:

So because you are not very good or familiar with RA 3 it gets a 10....
RA 3 is not a 10 at all, it's not easy but it's far from being a 10! It's a 7 at the most and even then you can do every single campaign mission with a human player on hard totally removing around 90% of the challenge from it!
The only really hard challenge is the defeat 3 medium or greater AI's, and even then theres a shocking easy method of doing this once you find it.

How this game can be hard at all?
Hard difficulty or brutal on 1vs.1? I could get them in any C&C game! TO bad there are no trophies on PC or something!!!
I would give it 3! Because:
-It's fun, not pain like kill 10000 people....
-They are easy, to easy I have to say
-all you need is some time and selfmotivation to play all maps
-even my dad that didn't play C&C game from 8 years would be able to platinise it if he had time!
I laugh at every one that say this game is hard! It's easier than you think! So everyone that agree with me, play rising sun mission in LA and destroy EA building because they did so easy game!!!!!!

Oh come off it, unless you go around looking for youtube vids or go around forums asking/reading guides nobody is going to do the some of those skirmish trophies without struggling at some point.

Exactly!
Maybe you do nothing but playing RTS games, but this is the second RTS game I've ever played! The first one was StarCraft, but that was 10 years ago! I'm good at pretty much all other console games (got platinum for Mirror's Edge, Killzone 2 & WipEout HD for example, all difficult games), just don't have much RTS experience, so quite logically, I'm struggling!
You state the logical. This poll is a matter of personal opinion right? Of course an RTS vet will say it's easy, and of course an RTS newbie will say it's hard. That's just logical.
But don't worry, I won't give it a 10 anymore. Once you've figured out some techniques it gets easier. I'd probably give it about an 8 right now.

4, purely because I own at C&Cs and am already 4 missions on hard/co-op/bonus objectives away from platinum.

Is that to me? All my tacticks came from other C&C games and Red Alert 3 on PC  I don't think you can copy of some one? He created it and you won't be able to do same as he did!

Eh? Of course you can... the enemy AI behaves in a very similar manner in every game, the only varient is when you play against a specific co-commander/general. But still, once you watch someone who has cracked any one of those generals, all what you have to do is follow his actions and you're guaranteed a win against an AI opponent.
Try it out if you don't believe me, copy anyone of those youtube vids, pick the same side and play against the same apponent with the same enemy commander and you'll find the AI acts in almost exactly the same way.
It's the reason why everyone is now playing against 4 Giles opponents on that battlebase(?) map, because all 3 of those AI opponents play in exactly the same manner time and time again regardless of what you do.

But you can place key structures down to prevent a loss, for example, on the map that people are using to get the against all odds trophy (the 4 player one that looks like the floating fortress... I think it's called battlebase...something? it's the second map in the selection I think), if you pick the lower left corner of the map to start in, no matter how you play, if on medium enemy AI, you allow the enemy from the top right to attack you, they will always follow the same path, you can even place key defensive structures to make them turn back.
It's the same with Giles' airforce, when he sends his vindicator bombers, they always bomb the same structures time and time again. No matter what map to play on, they always fly from the same direction and bomb the same things, all what you need to do is place one defensive structure next to the target or an AA unit like a flack soldier.
Edit.... Isn't it about time the poll gets opened?

I'm going for 5, just because doing the last Allies mission on hard on your own is quite a challenging experience, you really need to issue the right orders to your co-commander so he doesn't spend a year bombing an entire base instead of the iron curtains, the best I can do is with just over a min left on the clock, although tanya blowing up the shuttle does save you time if you don't have any mirage tanks leveled up yet.
Also the 4 medium opponents is tough until you find the Giles and the Rising Sun infintry trick.
But Hell march is easy, as is the others, co-op trophies can be done on easy so it's not that difficult if you go out looking for solutions, but attempting it on your own with no guies is quite challenging.

vs 3 medium opponents is easy, just that you need a lot of map testing to know which one it will be easiest on.

They are very much the same, atleast in this one they made the ability to change the camera angle - it made making an enclosed base difficult. I still have all the other C&Cs - even the original, Revelations and RA1 on my PS3 :)

I finely got platinum:P took me a bit of time cause I didn't had a co-op partner because he was so lazy and after he got platinum he sold the game... But it's fine, I copleted game fully again! (first I completed it on PC)

I rated the trophy difficulty for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 as a 10 out of 10. There are some ultra time consuming trophies, mixed in with some very difficult trophies, too!

I have to disagree, it is not a 10 out of 10 for sure. I gave it an 8 on the basis that a couple of the hard missions were...hard and that a few of the skirmish missions without a guide would have been very difficult. The co-op one is also frustrating as twice now I have started the first allied mission and had the error message before finishing lol.

Skirmish missions are easy. Not only did I manage them without a guide, but I managed them all in the space of one night, I even got a reasonable amount of sleep before you go and say I was up all night. 2-3 hours I think it was?

The only hard trophy was the 3 allied medium enemies against you but even them you just have to make sure you take one of them out quickly. The co-op ones where annoying due to the bad severs but luckily me and my co-op partner managed to do most of them in an afternoon where they didn't play up.
