I've played this on Xbox and cant wait for the PS3 version. It was a really fun game to play even with the controller and the PS3 version is supposed to be having even more content. The "movie like" cut scenes are comicly bad but thats about the only bad thing i can say about it for now. Anyone else deffinatly getting this on release? or am i the only one?

The PS3 finally gets the good stuff with RA3: Ultimate Edition. But we will still prolly have the problem of no one playing online.

Ive co-oped with a friend on this game for a while on PC, but even after many hours of gaming I find hard to use ALL the special abilities. The computer can use 10 different secondary abilities at once while I struggle to use one ^^

This game would kick ass if every single unit didnt have a secondary attack that you almost cant live without.

So I will probably not get it :P

I love Command & Conquer. Played every part of them. from C&C 1 - C&C Generals. I'm waiting because i want C&C 3 on PS3 and not in PC

I couldn't really get used to these type of games on the ps3. I loved Red Alert and Age of Empires (who remembers that ?:P) on the PC, as it was much easier/faster to control. I'll probably get this tho.

I remember Age of Empires :P - great game to be honest.

Anyway back on topic I had the demo of this on my Xbox 360 and I found it pretty difficult - but I may but it for the PlayStation 3 and try to get used to it a bit more.

Every game in 2009 and over will have trophies...

And AoE was good! I loved the first one! But Red Alert 2 is my favorite rts game and 2nd. top of all games. 1st. one is GTA Vice City :platinumcrown:... who like Warcraft? It's good rts game too!:yes:

Age of empires was/is an awesome game! And this will have trophies and I guess they will be the same as the Xbox achievements.

I don't know about this.

I loved Red Alert 1 and 2, but since then my love for strategy games has vanished.

So essentially, my two incentives are trophies and Gemma Atkinson. :P

Im getting Keyboard and Mouse for this game. I cannot wait. So many years of playing Generals and now my playstation gets in on the wonderful franchise. Im so glad it wasnt cancelled.

Anyway i cant wait to play 2v2 matches and own you little noobs at some proper RTS.

played the first 2 why not i'll play this one i have been looking foward to it for ages played the demo on 360 so much i went out and got Red Alert 2 and played it for 2 whole days got bored of it but starting to get more intrest back
one nooby question even though i have played both 1 and 2 i still dont get the expansion pack and the diffrent version i mean what is kane's wrath

i won't get it on realese because im gonna get DSi on realease and need all the money i can get

i have never played a real time strategy game on a console that i liked after playing rome:total war . Of course any newer total war games would blow my computer up :P so, no this is definately a game i want to avoid

Well we get the 'ultimate edition' with improved graphics more missions, maps and stuff so its possibly worth the wait... be greatful we are getting it at all after the no ps version scare :P.

This is a day 1 purchase for me. I love RTS and have played all other C&C games and most other games of it's kind too such as Dune, Total Annialation, Age Of Empires and Commandos.
I had 2 copies of Age Of Empires 2 on PS2 many years ago and my friend and I would spend hours playing against eachother with 2 tvs and 2 PS2s. I also loved Commandos 2 on PS2 so I'm well used to RTS on a console. Can't wait for this.

Story is different... but it's like other RA games so if you liked Red Alert 2 story you will like RA3 too!

There probably will be a demo on the PlayStation Store sometime before release as there was for the Xbox 360 version of the game.

I have been playiing the game since tuesday and i am impressed. My only gripe is sometimes the sound pops makes noises. The only way to fix this is to save and reload but it has only happened twice.. far as trophies go very time consuming if your not familar with stradegy games you might struggle at first.. If you like a good challenge C&C is a good purchase

The controls are actualy quite simple. Just Click on your unit using x or if you want everybody in the vicinity use square and then use 1 of your shoulder buttons depending on what your wanting to do. You can also scroll the map really fast by using L2 and your map.

With you there, the game is fairly easy to learn how to command, then the problem to master is arises :inquisitive:

Sofar I have given up playing it on hard, thought that would be relative simple, but got my wolf-tail beat quite hard already on level 2, so went back and changed the setting to easy in order to learn the game, still hard to do and I hate the Co-Commander, usually just lets them go about their own business - have more than enough to do with keeping and eye on my own forces :smug:
