That's right. PS+ users are to get some very nice goodies this month. All the DLC is to become available for free download for the critically acclaimed Fallout 3.

With "Point Lookout", "Mothership Zeta", and "Operation: Anchorage" being available from today, Fallout fans only have to wait another week for "Broken Steel" and "The Pitt".

This is pretty good marketing for the upcoming Fallout New Vegas, with more people giving the fantastic Fallout 3 a play.

So basically all PS+ members get is DLC that they have probably brought already months/nearly a year ago? Wow great deal there! if sony want PS+ to be successful and more popular it needs exclusive yet not unfair exclusives - the recent lit of betas, dead space2, ac brotherhood mp beta and killzone 3 beta is the way forward sony really need to get their perspective on pay to play subscriptions.

I'm severely tempted now, if not for a year then the 3 month thing

Waste of money just buy the goty edition

Well, I could pick up the GOTY edition for £12 preowned.
Alternatively, I already have Fallout 3, and for just less than £12 could buy a 3 month subscription to Playstation Plus which not only gets me the DLC I'd get with the GOTY edition (and I don't really want 2 copies of the game), but also gets me other PSN games, minis, themes, avatars, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Beta access, possible access to the KZ3 and LBP 2 betas, price reductions and the automatic download thing. Still think it's a waste of money?

I do plan to get PS+ evetually, but I have a question, can you see all of the free PS+ content in one place when you have PS+ or do you have to just find everything seperatly?

Guys. Because it doesn't have what 'you' want, doesn't make it pointless, if you want to say that then say "I think it's pointless for me". Now I would list the early demos, beta access free games, discounts that have well equated over £40 already, but I'm not here for that. Anyway, Ryan, no, the only things you can download is what is on the PS+ list on the store. The stuff isn't backtracked, although it is saved in your downloads list. So as long as you click 'download' your fine. But signing up now, you get the goodies from now, till your subscription ends.

And another note, no some people may have bought these DLC, etc etc. But some people haven't, and have left it, but it also gives people a chance to rate the product as well.

So the moral of this post is basically, what's useless to you may be useful to someone else, you shouldn't condemn a product or service cause it doesn't suit your needs, I mean there are people expecting free 1 week old game DLC, Sony can't just decide to make something free, well they could, but they wouldn't be very profitable.

Except i believe ryan was asking if all the ps+ stuff could all be found in 1 section and not scattered all over the store and i believe it is or atleast was right next to the special offers section on the latest page, but very well said birdie

Yeh Birdie, nicely put. Its annoying how it seems to be a common trait to slag something off as being a waste, just because that individual doesn't want it. I've def got more than £40 worth now, after 3 months. Plus some really nice extra content that I wouldn't have dreamed of buying (the clock theme that actually tells the time :L).

Ryan, yeh there is a sectio that is titled PS+ which you go into. Pretty easy to know whats new.

Oh and Birdie, I could have sworn you had posted more than 9 times!!!??

Thing i found out about PS+ is the 4 games you get free each month you lose if you cancel your subscription, which i think is unfair. PS+ is deffo not for me.

I was going to mention the 'stop your subscription and lose everything' silliness but Simmy has already done so. So I'll just +1 his post instead, no way would I pay for a service that gives me things only to have them taken away again if I stop paying. The only real interest is the psx games for me anyway and since I still own most of my psx collection I can just rip an iso and emulate if I really feel like playing an old game (still play Breath of Fire 3 pretty much once every year, that's the sort of staying power games just don't seem to have these days heh) :)
