red alert 3 co op partner?

I know you have added me but though I might aswell confirm on here.

I have been having previous problems with co op being trying to play, and after 10-15 minutes it says that my partner has left and the mission is failed. This says the same on the other persons screen so it isn't true. We did successfully play a skirmish game with no problems.

I have read about the EA servers being awful and was wondering if anybody has found a way round this as this is what the problems are probably caused by. Thanks for any help.
