Would have preferred something like get 1 silver for each game completed, 1 gold for every 5 games.
Getting 100% without having to complete most games just doesn't seems right. Anyways, i'll be getting that game collection, old Sega games + trophies = win.

I totally agree, I wanted the collection ever since it was announced. Trophies are just a bonus for me, I can't wait to play Comix Zone (FANTASTIC), and the Streets of Rage franchise again although I never played the 3rd one. To bad Flashback isn't part of the package, it was my favourite Mega Drive game lol.

The problem with "Get a trophy for completing X game" is that it would still be a walk-over.
In fact most traditional trophies such as complete on hardest difficulty, or would be a walk-over.
Think about it... most of the games in this collection have cheats such as level select and infinate health which will still be live as most of these games have them in their legacy... e.g. Sonic 1's level select.
This to me, other than play X game X number of times (like they did in Sonic's Gems/Megacollection) is one of the few ways that they could do it without it being too mind numbling dull (like Gems/megacollection).
However looking at the doctor robotniks mean bean machine one.... has anyone here tried to play that game without passwords? Christ... it's brutal even on the easiest difficulty. Some of these may not be that easy afterall... especially if they disable level select cheats for trophy activation.
