Platinum
Awarded for successfully collecting all trophies from X-Blades
Expect at least two playthroughs to get platinum here. one to unlock pro difficulty and one on pro difficulty. you can earn almost all trophies on your easy (or normal) playthrough with enemy kills carried over to the next one (souls get reset though).




Easy Walk
Complete game at Normal difficulty
Selfexplanatory. If you complete a game on a harder difficulty this unlocks, too.




Everyday business
Complete game at Hard difficulty
Selfexplanatory. If you complete a game on a harder difficulty this unlocks, too.




Tough fight
Complete game at Pro difficulty
Pro difficulty unlocks by beating the game once on any other difficulty. the damage you take from enemies is higher here (but enemies have the same health as on easy) and healing/rage items cost double the price each time once you used them (for instance on easy the prices rise with game progression).

General pro mode tips:

- finish the game at least once to get an idea of what you are doing
- by finishing it once you unlock two alternate outfits: rejuvenate suit and armored suit
- select the rejuvenate suit for pro and buy the rejuvenate upgrades as soon as possible
- never use healing or rage manually via the menu, instead slash enemies and run around to regenerate
- learn only the most important spells (earthquake, fire rage, ice flower, ray of light)
- DO NOT learn any dark magic on pro (to get the good ending)

This happens in the first level and cannot be avoided.




Annoying fly
Kill a monster in the air using blades
In the early levels you will encounter huge dragonfly like enemies. just jump and kill them with your blades in the air.

Execute your first combo
You will learn your first combo early on in the game. use it once (you don't even have to hit an enemy).




Can't touch me
Complete level without losing your health
This is achieved while getting the next trophy.

Complete 6 levels without losing your health
First of all "without losing health" means not getting hit once. this can be confirmed in the level statistics shown at the end of all levels (hits taken 0). the "aced" levels carry over to the next playthrough, but in order to get the trophy you have to ace 6 DIFFERENT levels. the first level can be aced pretty easily by using your guns and spamming the earthquake spell while recharging manually via the menu. for the ice enemies just keep a good distance and spam fireball. furthermore there are four trap levels (2 day and 2 evening versions) which can be aced easily. for the rest read on.




Flawless victory
Win a boss fight without losing your health
Here are two easy methods to do that (on easy difficulty). remember that the results here can count towards the trophy above:
1. first boss: after the match starts run up to him and start spamming the earthquake spell. immediately enter pause menu and fill up your rage again completely using souls. you can always trigger two earthquakes in a row before recharging. this way the spawned enemies won't reach you in time and he cannot move at all.
2. big enemy right before the final boss: stay in the corridor and don't enter the actual arena. keep using the suggested combo to kill him in about four shots. he cannot even touch you.




Magic woman
Complete level using only magic
For me the easiest level was "a fork in the road". it's a small room with only a few enemies. spam fire rage only.




Being good is easy
Complete game with a good ending at Normal difficulty
To get the good ending you MUST NOT buy darkball in the first part of the game. later the game removes the option to buy it (don't be afraid, that belongs to the story).




Good girl
Complete game with a good ending at Hard difficulty
See above.




It's hard to be a good girl
Complete game with a good ending at Pro difficulty
See above. note that by completing the game with a good ending on pro difficulty gives you the above trophies, too (if not gotten earlier).




Servant of the Dark
Learn all Dark spells
Just buy all the spells starting with "dark" (4). note that after the first part of the game the option to buy them is removed. get them as soon as possible.




Light adept
Learn all Light spells
Just buy all the spells starting with "light" (4). the last one costs a lot and you won't be able to buy it until late in the game.




Finish him
Defeat The Dark One at The Dark Temple
Story-related. cannot be missed.




Counter impossible
Get IMPOSSIBLE hit counter
You have to get a hit counter of at least 150 or more. I found this very easy to do in "the entrance to the temple". big groups of regular enemies are attacking you in the later waves. just keep slashing them when they surround you.




Dark side
Execute Dark form for the first time
Use the spell darkform once. note that after the first part of the game the option to buy it is removed. get it as soon as possible.




Light side
Execute Light form for the first time
Use the spell lightform once.




Lock and load
Learn all shooting improvements
Buy all different shooting upgrades from the pause menu (select). it will cost a lot.




Let's go shopping
Use every item at least once
This corresponds to the items screen in the pause menu (select). it includes using healing, max healing, rage, max rage, rejuvenate (only once), form upgrade (only once).




Nice silver thingie
Collect 3 silver artifact parts
Artifact parts are scattered throughout the levels. they are generally easy to spot and find. remember to destroy all structures like coffins, torches etc. also note that artifacts reappear in the evening versions of the levels. there are more than enough in the game.




Nice gold thingie
Collect 3 gold artifact parts

Nice ruby thingie
Collect 3 ruby artifact parts
See above.




Shooting master
Get maximum Shooting upgrade level
Collect 3x3 silver artifacts to reach level 3.




Melee master
Get maximum Melee upgrade level
Collect 3x3 gold artifacts to reach level 3.




Airstrike master
Get maximum Airstrike upgrade level
Collect 3x3 ruby artifacts to reach level 3.




Master of all skills
Get maximum Shooting, Melee and Airstrike upgrade level
Reach level 3 everywhere. see above.




Unbelievable metabolism
Upgrade health regeneration level to maximum
Buy the rejuvenate upgrade until level 3.




I'm so special
Learn all Special Form upgrades
Buy the special form upgrade until level 3.




Monster hunter
Kill 100 monsters
This happens in your first playthrough.




Monster killer
Kill 1000 monsters
This happens in your first playthrough, too.




Famous monster eliminator
Kill 10 000 monsters
One playthrough gives you about 3000-4000 kills. after playing through twice you can just replay the last enemy area before the last boss fight (hall of columns) by backtracking. enemy kills get carried over between playthroughs.




Soul collector
Collect 5 000 souls
Happens in your first playthrough. remember to destroy all possible structures for extra souls. souls DO NOT get carried over between playthroughs, but souls count more and more towards the end of the game.




Great soul collector
Collect 50 000 souls
Happens in your first playthrough. remember to destroy all possible structures for extra souls.




Epic soul collector
Collect 5 000 000 souls
Happens in your first playthrough. remember to destroy all possible structures for extra souls.




The best soul collector
Collect 50 000 000 souls
Happens in your first playthrough. remember to destroy all possible structures for extra souls. by the end of the game you should have it. If not, get the rest by replaying the last enemy area before the last boss fight (hall of columns). Note that you have to have the required amount, you cannot spend anything until it's reached.
