how good is this game? really?

I played the demo.. loved it

and i thought it was rather scary playing at night, sat close to the widescreen, loud surround sound. and i was HONESTLY scared

but then it moved away more to action sci fi shooter. and i preferred the scarey slow moving.. gory and ghostly first person shooter.

is this game worth really buying?

For me NO! it seems like its gone down bank from the first FEAR.

yeah, im not too sure, as i loved the scary goreyness of it, but the sci fi action put me abit off

I would say yes I got it and I love it the single player is so fun and really puts you behind the sofa lol and the multiplayer has evolved so much from the original fear in all aspects. I really recommend this to anyone it is by far my favourite game on the PS3 so far.

it depends on ur point of view if your in to horror and gore this is along with dead space or even resi 5 but the fear is much better then the new one thou tbh
dead space storyline kills it thouxD

I loved the 1st fear, and this one just does not live up to the standards the 1st game set. I would not recommend buying it; however I do thing it is a game that should be played either by renting and borrowing it. BUT DO NOT BUY IT, in my opinion there are much better games out there to spend your money on.

FEAR 2 is definitely a quality FPS and a worthwhile purchase, especially at around £10, which you can usually pick it up for now.
