    Opinion on best GOW

Just completed the GOW Collection (Finished with GOW2) there but i got GOW3 first way back on it's release. Just wondering what one you guys think's the best. For me i'd say its a close call but between 2 & 3, maybe 3 being slightly better. Shorter than the others but not as much backtracking, which gets SERIOSLY boring. Also on GOW3 theres a hint button if you get stuck insted of standing there like a spare p***k wondering what to do. I swear i must have spent half my game time on the GOW Collection wondering how to open a door that the counterweight was missing on, or how to pull three levers at once when the slow motion thing keeps running out. All in all, a very good trilogy but VERY boring and frustrating when you have to backtrack or find your way out of a room with nothing in it accept the walls holding it up. etc, etc, etc.

    Opinions Lads?

imo the first one is the best. the gameplay was kinda new and it had a few pretty good puzzles. 2&3 felt more like upgrades than new games. same gameplay, same enemies... sure the graphics are better and the setpieces more epic, but just as a game, i prefer the first.
    Platinum:
Bioshock, BlazBlue, CoD Modern Warfare 2, Dante's Inferno, Darksiders, Fallout 3, God of War, God of War 2, God of War 3, inFamous, Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Mass Effect 2, NFS Shift, Prince of Persia, Star Wars TFU, Tekken 6, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Wolverine

Im playing first one - got collection, but not impressed so far and i think im about 1/3 in. I really don't see what makes this stand out from other hack n slash games. (I know someone is gogin to shoot me down with 1 million reasons now)

It would have been better if they made the cutscenes HD too, insted of HD gaming and PS2 cutscenes. Seems quite lazy.

I didn't really like the first one tbh. Your opinion might change playing GOW 2 or 3. I played 3 first and thought it was epic, maybe because ive not played much games in this genre before, because i know other people who weren't impressed... honestly don't know how though.

Yeah that's probably true, it's just that when you think years back, GoW was new and exciting. It updated the genre, but since then, so many games have been released that have taken the same blueprint that to play it now doesn't do the game any justice.

Platinums: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Dead Space, Prototype, Assassin's Creed II, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dante's Inferno, God of War, PoP The Forgotten Sands, God of War 2, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Almost: SEGA MEGA DRIVE Ultimate Collection(89%), Tekken 6 (88%), Borderlands (72%)

    Currently working on: Killzone 3

I don't mind if anyone here wants to add me, but let me know you're from PS3T please - PSN is fs86
