I'm getting very much used to seeing debates from our Philosophy and Ethics class being posted in here .. it is rather disturbing Ross. Miss Gray would be proud.

Actually, a side-effect of climate change (note that I didn't necessarily state global warming) is that Britain and Northern Europe will likely get colder! There's a strong, permanent current in the Atlantic ocean which brings warm water from the tropics 'round our way. Changes in climate are weakening its effects, which (if it happens) will mean harsh winters and cooler summers.
Regrdless of whether we're responsible, it's indisputable that the world's climate is changing. I'm more inclined to believe that this is a natural cycle though.

All of these supposed measures to combat climate change will probably never work and even if they were to have an effect I think it's too late. The change is happening but it could be just a phase the planet is going through, after all, the Earth is supposedly billions of years old and our life time is probably only a second compared to how long the Earth has been around for.
Also these so called 'green' measures are a way of making money so the government will try and push it forward further. Energy companies and many others have also jumped onto the band wagon. And the very idea of cows contributing to climate change also sounds silly.

I love the cold weather :D, no idea why, I think it's because the hot weather in Britain is far too humid for my liking.

Exactly, the ice ages etc. were natural cycles in the earth's history.
Oh and on the second point you are definitely right - the humidity of hot weather here can tend to err on the side of smothering (though I do like warmer times of year), whereas in somewhere like western Europe it's generally more comfortable at the same temperature.

The process we know as global warming is now being deliberately accelerated by some nations as a way to reach resources trapped beneath the polar ice caps. The melting of artic ice will lead to new conflicts over these resources and the new shipping lanes.
This is already happening with the russians claiming the area around the northern pole much to the horror of the u.s, canada and the eurozone.
