Heres a list i found of cars that have been confirmed for GT5. As far as a list goes this is the best i've found so check it out :).

These are just a few of the cars we will see! remember these are just cars that have been seen in screenshots, mentioned in magazines and seen tested for the game not a full confirmed list. Im guessing 800-1000 cars in the full game with more being available for download on the PS store over time.

They said free car packs on the psn ;). But i think they have delayed it to put them all on the disk now anyway. It was either release this month and release car packs later, or delay till september/next year :| and put them all on the disk.

And lol haza, they where so you're not going crazy yet! Nice new sig btw :)

This list was originally made 18 months before Prologue's release.

It also looks like a carbon copy of GT4.

It'll still be all I play when it releases though.

the veyron is great in a straight line but not good in the corners as proved in top gear, i want to see the Zonda F, Ascari A10 & Ariel Atom as my top 3

I would love to see more oldschool honda's (early civic's, accords and why not even the hybrid ones) in the game. Jap cars are wonderfull and i hope home tuners like nismo/mugen wont be forgotten.

its gran turismo prologue that has no trophies. Gran turismo 5 WILL have trophies.

Not entirely true. There is a loop-hole that means that some games wont have trophies, due to submition date to sony. example- WSC real snooker 09 and with very probably no patch to come either!
