3 on 3 Arcade Hints?

I've had about 10 goes on this now and for some reason I'm really struggling with it. Even on the easiest skill level I get thrashed every time.

Anybody got any hints for this yet?

same here i went online b4 and got raped 10-1 i think you have to use the analogue stick and dummy near the keeper and then shoot but im very bad at executing it properly. its still easyish to get most of the trophies though. just doubt i'll ever get the one for not conceeding a goal.

If you've got 2 Controller, you can play against the 2nd. You can make every Trophy (except the Online-Trophies) on this way.
The easiest way to get a goal: Play with a friend/ya brother etc. - one checks the goalkeeper and the other scores the goal. :idea2:

That's what happens with me. I get to the team select screen and their controller just stays in the centre instead of moving to a side to select which team they want to be in.

It's happened every single time so I'm guessing that they are seeing the same as me and it's the system that's wrong.

Any hints regarding the "Team Player" trophy. I dont have 3 controllers.

You do know that you can achieve the trophies playing against CPU? For the one where you need to concede no goals, set the score limit to 5 and play on easy difficulty. shouldn't take too long to win 5-0. Most the other trophies are easiest achieved with a score limit of 20. eg win 20-15.

the only one i cant get is team player as i only have one ps3 controller one ps2 controller and a guitar hero one. might have to get a dualshock for killzone 2 though, so i should be able to get it then. still a dumb trophy though.

just assign the first player then re-assign the controller to controller 2 and shift that to the side then do the same and change it to controller 3. then just let the other guy win and you still get the trophy ;)

i cant get into a game either at the minute so any ideas about what is wrong?

I've had a couple of online games now and they were really good. The score went backwards & forwards through the whole match but I lost in the end. lol

ImpJIM- good tip, nice one. Think you're the 1st to work that out- will do it myself but it's one of those trophies which feels a bit cheap, like the new Burnout ones!

Looks to me that you must have 3 controllers. Developers use trophies to make us aware of the fun stuff and details in games, so I guess thats what they did.

This game is very poor imo. Please save your money there are much better games on the PSN to buy.

I am trying to get the trophies and can't get them even with a second controller. It's like the game plays itself?

Update. I can confirm that the two controller trick doesn't work for the trophies.

It does work for the three controllers online but nothing else.

I have knocked players over barrier several times now and scored two goals while power-ups were active but no joy.

I think the trophies need to be against the AI or even worse online. Not a great game either.

I stand corrected must be a game glitch. Deleted the game and downloaded it again and the trophies unlock. Is there anyway you can disable the superhuman goakeepers.

Relica: The only way to "disable" them is to beat them. It sure ain't easy the first few times you play the game, but like me, I am sure you will get the hang of it after a while. Learn how to shoot by using the right analog stick, instead of the circle button and you'll score more easily. ;)

OK thanks for the tips. I am playing it on easy and still struggling. EA have overcomplicated it with having so many button combinations.

I was struggling on easy myself, and still am, don't get me wrong, but I'm doing far better now than the first few times. I never thought I would ever get the gold trophy for this game the first days, but yesterday it all worked out.

If your going to get the game and just play it one player then probably not. However get 4 or more on it and its great fun me and 5 others played this for a good few hours and had great fun and were sure to do it many more times. The menu noises can get really irritating tho.

An easy way for the trophies would be to do it 2 player and only shoot when you have power ups also you can take the goalie out about half way when he has the puck leavin a nice open goal to score in. Could get all trophies bar the online ones in one game doing this.

I have got 6 power ups and scored with them all (two times) but I do still not have the trophy...?
