"Scientific Pursuits" glitch??

Anyone else had a glitch on the "Scientific Pursuits" trophy?, got it completed in the game the other night as I went through the pod thing into "Tranquility Lane" but it didn't update onto my trophy list!!, saved just before and tried several times but without any success :no:

sounds like it glitched.

Maybe delete the game file and the same file if your done with it then restart?

Further to my original post I found this help from 'Freezegt' on GameSpotForums (Big Thanks for that!)

"In order to get the achievement you need to start the quest line when talking to DR. Li having never been inside the Jefferson Memorial. If you have entered it your only option in the conversation is that you checked and your father is not there. This will skip part of the quest so no achievement possible.

So, for those of you who have been having problems try loading up a saved game in which you haven't even found the Jefferson Memorial. Go directly to doctor Li and start the quest... finish it the "right" way to get the achievement. Then just load back up where ever you are currently!"

So just in case you've had the same problem as I've had, there's your answer! :D

i read somewer that to achive the trophey u must get the qst from 3dog instead of li
i havent got the trophey either but il achive it my second go when i play a goody :)

I missed this trophy on my first playthrough too, on second play I tried following the green arrows and it worked. The trophy should open when you enter Tranquility

So can you get this quest from 3dog then, as someone has written above?

I spoke to Dr Li without saving to check, and I only get the option to say I've been to the memorial. If its nothing to do with three dog, then I guess I'll need to start a new game later to get the trophy.

you can get it from either I got it from li and it was fine

Well, I just completed the quest after starting it by speaking to 3dog, and after already having been in the memorial, and I didn't get the trophy.

Better go back to a previous save then I suppose!

not getting this trophy seems to be a big gotcha, i missed it and have to go back and restart the game at some point to get this, although several of my friends got it.

Its probably to do with how easy it is to miss the rivet city entrance, so you search the surrounding area, bumble in to the memorial and decide to have a poke round that instead...
