Ok, this one was taken before my son was born, so we're talking about 3 years ago.. Haven't got anything more recent when I'm not in uniform I'm afraid. Not much has changed, except I've been forced to stop wearing piercings due to recent work promotions.

1 month first time and 9 months second time. Thinking of going back permanently next year. Japanese gamers only have trophy support for PJ:E so far, I asked a friend if there weren't any Jajp-only games that had support, but no.

Originally went there on my own to travel, came back, got a Japanese girlfriend in England and went back to meet her family, broke up pretty fast, got a job in a shop and became a journalist for the Japanese magazine "Mr.Partner" but just ended up traveling the country last 2 months I was there.

I never really studied Japanese a lot but I speak & read quite well through thanks to interaction in the language. Studying it more now because I want to get a degree.

Hmm.. I'd say they have a lot of different games compared to the UK. If you go into a game store in Japan you'll find 10 times more games than in the UK, nearly all of them never getting outside the country. There's A LOT of text-based visual adventures, most of which are dating sims, but there's also 100s of exclusive RPGs and adventure games too. Especially in the older generations.. not so much now. Now it's mainly crazy/novel games.

I still have my games collection from Japan, about... 900 games. :/ They cost about 100 - 200 yen each second hand, (about 40 to 90 pence each) so I bought a load. If you import older games over the internet most of the time you're getting ripped off..

they might get you on trespassing too, seeing as many of the best free running locales are... how you'd say out of bounds...

years ago in my early teenage years I did a bit around water filtration facilities, chemical plants and abandoned buildings... Nearly got caught a few times...

There was this one time where someone had seen us leap from a wall through the window of an old dilapidated house (it had long since been abandoned, there was no glass pane in the window and the floors were collapsing) and called the fuzz... to make matters worse, there were heroin needles all over the house so we may have gotten busted for a lot more than trespassing had we gotten caught...

Anyway, the cops arrive, we can hear them pull up outside sirens wailing and all, so we made our way to the top floor (which involved walking along the support beams of the collapsed floor, swinging from old cables, etc), then lifted each other into the loft, covering the entrance hatch with a panel of wood which was thankfully at hand... Anyway, the police enter the building, we can hear them talking into their radios about the needles, signs of breaking and entry (someone else's work of course), and they did a sweep of the house... they eventually reached the room below the loft entrance and one of them started poking at the wood (covering the loft opening) with something or other... me and my friends were sat on the board to stop them getting in...

after a few minutes the cops gave up their search and left...
