The taut cover-based shootouts from the first game return, then, but with tons of tweaks & improvements. For instance? Drake can now carry riot shields & explosives during firefights, has new acrobatic abilities like free-climbing & monkey bar swinging, & (a niggly but crucial thing) grenades have been given their own button to make them much more combat friendly. Big strides have been made with the AI, too, answering our (minor) complaint that the original Uncharted's bad guys were a bit rent-a-goon. They now come in various classes with differing abilities, & won't stand around looking confused if they think they've heard you. Give yourself away & they'll hunt you down no matter how long it takes, even if means jumping over complicated obstacles. Smart hay & theres more, what do you think about the new abilities etc...?

The new stuff they are putting in to this game are going to make it so much better. It's giong to be something similar to MGS4 in my eyes right now, as it gives you the choice to play stealthy or you can shoot everything, and the enemies are smarter and will look for you and complete the same moves you do.

There are some mag scans of stuff they are doing with it and it's a nice read. Should find it on N4G.

I've read exactly what you said somewhere else, are you quoting from another site?

The stealth mechanic will be brill as I didn't like the linearity of the first one, so maybe this will change that.

I thought the enemy AI for the first one was one of the best (maybe just on crushing) with how they flanked you etc) so to have it improved means it could be like the enemies are thinking as individuals and think differently for different situations.

I agree, I found the enemy AI on normal to be quite bad, how they would just sit in the same place and wait for you to move. But in crushing they would actually come and find you. I thought it made some fights easier because you could run into an area and then run back out around a corner and wait for them to follow and just blast them away.

I cant wait for this. Will be the greates game ever i'm sure of it.
