Get New Fonts:
Go to dafont.com (http://dafont.com) or somewhere similar.
Choose the font you like, and save it to your desktop.
Unzip the file.
Open the folder.
Copy the font files.
Go to: C: Drive (or your main hard drive if different to C) >> WINDOWS >> Fonts
Paste the font here.

Okay i still use CS2, cba to upgrade mine.

First of all i dont think i can be much help with the boarders, if you look at all my sigs none of them have boarders, for some reason i can never get them to work on mine sigs so i just leave them out :P Some say they look better with boarders. I agree but dunno how :)

For a font goto www.dafont.com and download one that you like, they come in RAR files so if i was you i would download a piece of software called winRar, if you already have it great lets crack on.

To get a font to work on CS2, what i do, dunno if there is an easier way i right click on the download RAR file which contains the Font File, i "extract here" which extracts it to the current location of the RAR file. I then go right click on the font file and click copy.

Then go to your start menu and open up My computer go to your

Local Disc (C:) / Program Files / Common Files / Adobe / Fonts / Reqrd / CMaps /

You should now be inside the font folder for photoshop paste your font file into this folder and accept any permissions. Some computers dont require you do add permissions.

Your font should now be in photoshop, go on the Text Tool in the Left Hand Panel and select the text up the top of the window in photoshop.

You can choose the size of the file when you hit Ctrl + N (New File )

Any more help just ask ;)

Jake, it says to make sure its not protected or to make sure that its not in use. It'll only let me click OK. What do I do?

Easiest way to make a border in photoshop is right click on the layer then select blending options > Stroke, then just pick the color, size etc.
