Fallout 3 DLC for PS3 Petition

According to PSM3 magazine the PS3 will have it's own exclusive DLC for Fallout 3 sometime this year. Don't know how solid that information is though.

As it's been said though, Microsoft paid a lot of money for its DLC exclusivity. Hopefully, it's only a timed exclusive - so the PS3 would get it maybe 6 months to a year down the line - but I really doubt it.

This is such a futile exercise... you want to show strength in numbers you need to get all those 4000+ people (assuming they are all individuals) and have them write individual letters to the company, (NO, not a bloomin' copy and write your name at the bottom job, original individual letters).

It needs to be physical otherwise it won't have much of any impact. Otherwise there would be a decent patch out if the official forums are anything to go by.

I've been reading in quite a few mags that DLC will come to PS3. BUT it wouldn't suprise me if another GOTY addition was released with the DLC, so we have to fork out more cash. A bit like Oblivion.

Mmm this is pointless, Microshaft have paid Bethesda so that all of additional content will remain exclusive to the X-Box and PC, I loved Fallout 3 but had I known this information beforehand I would not have bought it, I won't be buying another Bethesda game, thats for sure!

i thought fallout 3 was amazing and am dissapointed that the dlc is not on the ps3 as i would love to continue from where it ended as i expected that to happen anyway. I dont think i will never buy a bethesda game again but i am dissapointed so many developers are selling out and focusing on the 360. At this rate tekken 6 will end up having exclusive dlc for the 360 rather than the ps3.

The game is big and once you get the explorer perk, you get to see just how big and how much they have put into it. But I would pay for more story or more characters, more weapons to build etc without a doubt.

I'm on my 4th playthrough, but not gonna complete the story, just wandering the wasteland meeting people and having fun!

Just another example of how microshaft are shitting their pants with worry about how good some of the more recent ps3 games are looking and using every underhand, spiteful, shitty, unbusinesslike tactic (wow doesnt that sound like the rise of MS through the 80s anyway!) to try to make the Ex-box (not a typo) look more attractive.

The DLC - Anchorage Pack is now on the XBOX360. Ive seen some gameplay videos and it is pretty awesome, i hope we get it.

That is perhaps a bit harsh but i do agree with some of your points. The PC version will also be receiving these updates so it does seem like PS3 being kicked to the curb and it is an outrage. However there is not too much we can do except hold tight and hope this injustice is righted .. Knight of the Nine from Oblivion made it to the PS3 so we just have to hope this will be a repeat. The Anchorage Pack added only 3 achievements on the 360 version so trophy wise we are not missing out on too much on not getting this DLC.

lol calmed down a bit since my last post-bit harsh to say boycott them! but it is so annoying to play a game and LOVE it, then to hear that you wont be getting dlc for it when everyone else will be! plus I know there isn't a lot trophy wise in this dlc but from a gameplay point of view it is significant. also I hear there's more to come later. also, it is unacceptable that micro$oft are doing this! just found out that gta 4 dlc isn't happening on PS3 WTF? don't know if they were bought out or not though. but I suppose if it comes down to it I can always get the pc version and play the dlc that way...

No-one was whining or trashing without good cause, this was a fairly civilised discussion till you vented. We're not just filling a thread with whines and moans we're actually doing something about it that will let the company know that there's people willing to pay for DLC on the PS3.

Me too, but back then the games companies released finished games, without the need to patch bugs with the covering bull of "we've inproved this and that and added a nice new costume".......etc ;)
