i just thought id start this thread becuse i couldnt find one like it basicly. anyway i been adicted to this site now for days !!! well done team. i think that user interface betwean ps3 and pc/mac should be mde direct for all not just devs and modders. and i think sony should really push big on this also how about some sort of virus check!? it is basicaily a pc in a shiney black box of sex isinit?? maybe a direct link to a support team through psn its deffo possibile and reporting made easier????? dont know about that last one lol. if you carnt take it get out thekicthen my friend its what gameing is about i spose. the hurt the anger the win the payback ??any way home should have transport bus train what ever a way to make the loading screes more interesting with stuff on insides ond you all get on the train to warhark hall and you can chat along the way select your maps,guns ,options if done right it could all mingel well and reduce the times on screen saying LOADING PLEASE WAIT......... i have so many ideas id be borring you all in minutes. but i will take the time to come back and read them all. what with home devs looking up in hear an all maybe sony will get to hear about your iders?? thanks for reading this crap if you do ageant09.

Here's a silly one that Sony should fix: Stay signed in when watching DVDs or playing PS2 titles, and include the ability to use in-game/in-movie XMB access.

I don't have a Blu-Ray movie or downloaded PS1 game, so I don't know if it works with those.

They should let you continue downloads (and it would be really cool if it was system software updates too) while you watch a film or something, stuff that doesn't require the internet, so that the internet can be used for the downloads and you can actually use your ps3 in the meantime.

that is one of the best idas ive heard as it alows you to use the net on certin blu rays but dvds knock you out the psn all the time bloody brilliant idea.and remote play shold be accsebile for software like psptomtom stuff indtead of filling up sdcard in psp. also all copy right laws should be abolished between ps3 an psp sometimes it still pops up. and new ps3 should have 6 usb ports. the money iv spent on extras like camras leads keybords mouse charge stations wer is a man to plug it all unless you go out an buy usb hub which SONY dose not recomend eh...? sorry about spelling hands broke

I'd also like to be notified quicker for when I get disconnected.

When I play a game online and my internet cuts off, I just lose connection to the game, unsure whether it's a server problem or not. Then about 20 seconds later, that error messsage appears in the top right corner.

how about being able to see what your friends are doing when they are online, i know it already has like "joe bloggs: call of duty modern warfare" but if it said whether they were in single player mode, or playing online and what game they are playing if they are, whether its publicly joinable or private etc, that would be quite handy

Xfire has that. It shows the IP of the server someone is playing on, with the option to join their game. That would be useful, but I think if Sony did make it happen (via firmware update) then developers would have to patch some stuff into their games to make it work.

Definitely a better web browser for a start. The current one is way below par and as already stated the flash is out of date.

Maybe the ability to add your own feeds to that stupid feed thing you can switch on in the upper right corner (Mine is currently switched off as it never has anything interesting) - So you could add news headlines, sports results, warez updates etc. And the option to have it running in game if you wished.

A global ranking system that tells you your overall position in the world - would probably be based on trophies and using the psn network for every online user. The forum is great guys, but unfortunately the whole world hasn't signed up for it (yet) and I'd quite like to know how i'm fairing against everybody else.

Killer Instinct multiplayer available on the psn (seriously, i'm not giving up on that one sony.. *hint, nudge, wink*)

Onlind pay-to-play tournaments, where the entrance fees (minus Sonys cut for hosting the tournaments) are used for cash prizes.

Not too much to ask and all do-able :)

You can - go to the friends tab, go up to message box. Press triangle on recieved or sent, and select delete. Delets all the messages in that bit.

The option, when recording, to show notifications or not - sometimes it's good to show the actual trophy message appear when you get a tropy, not just the sound of it, but you don't wan't things like low battery and new messages ruining your vids.

i have a 360 i have over 90 friends on that i only have two on the psn some on mgs and a few on unreal 3 i think they should transfer to the psn friends list i think it should have on the list when they were last on and a list of games they like to play like on the 360 ps3 is better hardware wise not like the 360 which as redringed and the cd drive is about had it with two years good on sonyfor making a good consol just needs to make the ps2 games run i have a few i would like to play again but they run with faults so cannot play.

Cross game chats and Invites are op of my list alongside removing the need to snyc trophies and have profile cards load quicker (can be easily done, all they need to do is change the image file type from .PNG to Jpegs and cache them all)

The second thing I would like to see is more information on gamers (friends list and recently played) things like, previous games played, total time playing them, and like the 360, more specific information on what friends are doing online (What level thier playing etc.)

I would like to see a proper socail networking type site online, where each PSN user has thier own webpage (like bebo or myspace) which dynamicaly displayed thier trophies, when they are online, when they where last online, thier catalouge of games etc (like playfire but all dynamic)

That's all I really want to make the PS3 perfect online!

i think there should be transfere cabel for ps3 as (this means abosolutly evry one i think) as wen i got a new ps3 from sony i had to givethem the old one so i backed up the ps3 to a 8gb sony sd card on a psp then proceed to put it all back but lost the 3 (not so bad but imagin you wer ranked no.1 ????) super star dust trophies. can this be overcome?

I don't know if I've mentioned this already, but I'd like to see the ability to record gameplay footage. Simply just hit the record button on the in-game XMB and stop when needed, then it can save itself as a transferable file under Videos.

I think if Sony implemented that, we'd be seeing a lot more trophy guides in the form of video.
