Friends list

Does anybody know what the maximum number of friends on the list is, I am at around 85 because I keep deleting people that don't get on for like weeks at a time or when people re-make their PSNs for COD4 and such for the ranks, but I'm afraid that it may be 100 friends... Can anyone verify? I know a few people on these forums are at max friends.

i think they extended it too a 100

used to be 50 but 2.4 put it up to 100

Yup, you can have a maximum of 100 friends ;)

I can confirm it 110%.
If you don't belive me, take a look:
Depending on the game, XMB access will either automatically pause the game or it will continue to run in the background. Also, know the Friends list capacity has doubled to 100 names.

I used to reach the 100 friends limit a lot, because I was in a clan and we had matches virtually every night. But I stopped 'clanning', so now my list is down to about 50. :P

I've been getting a load lately and there like " Add ___________ please" and I sent the guy why and he said "making a new account for more friends."

There's this guy on my friends list, who can't take a hint that I don't trade ANYTHING. I even told him this. He now wants me to do some trophies for him, and in exchange, he'll do trophies for me. He's stupid. He's called BADDOG-1 (or something like that).

Totally. When I started being a mod / admin, I got about 10 - 20 friend requests a day, and only accepted the PSN ID's that I recognised. Now, I get nothing. :)

Haha, ending up a Hardcore TD game on CoD with a 10.0 KDR usually gets some unwanted requests from the enemy... Seriously, I just got 20/2 and you got 3/11. Why would I want to be on your team?


Or the ones that add you because they think your name is funny... They have nothing in common with you, they are not around the same skill level, they don't need help with anything, they don't send you party invites... They just like your name to be on their list... WHY!?!?

yh i had 70 at one point because of LBP, im now back down to 40 proper friends and a few of here

I have about half internet friends andhalf real life people, and about 50 in total. I have some people with double accounts, i only have a double for the american store, but i have 0 friends on that one.

Im running around 80-85ish last time I checked, a few of them are doubles, and I am slowly deleting the ones that have not been on for 10+ days in a row... Speaking of which, I love the update that added the "Last Login: ***" under the offline friends. It is very useful for fishing out the ones who do not get on anymore, unless they inform me that they will be on vacation or gone for a specific reason. In the term of RLFs, only about 10 or so are RLFs, the rest are off CoD and R2(90% CoD...) and I have like 3 from here.

i only have like 30 friends so the 100 limit is pritty decent :)
