i am going to compare the ps3 and the xbox 360. first i will list the ps3s and xbox advantages and then there disadvantages. each console gets a point for every advantage and a point taken away for every disavantage. then i will do a list of exclusives for each console the one withe the most gets a point. i will update this thread every time there is a new feature or excusive for each console. i will noy add a feature or an exclusive untill they are realeased. i am not including psn or xbox live games unless they can all so be perchused on a disc. i do not want this to turn in to a fanboy thread. if anybody posts any fanboy meassages may a ask the mods they delete them.
ps3 good features
1) psn is free (online) +1
2) can accsess full internet ( e.g internet explorer) +1
3) compatible with psp +1
4) wireless controllers +1 no batteries needed can be charged using usb +1
5) blu ray player plays blu ray films and normal dvds +2
6) ps3 uses blu ray discs which are bigger than dvds +1
7) compatable with memory stick +1
8) harddrive can be changed to a bigger size +1
9) trophies (reward system for milestones completed in games)
10) can use bluetooth head sets. any headset can be used +2
11) able to listen to music from hdd while playing on games +1
xbox 360 good features
1) unlimated number of friends on friend list on xbox live +1
2) achivments (reward system for milestones completed in games)
3) able to listen to music from hdd while playing games +1
4) wireless controllers +1
5) can play dvds +1
6) can be bought with a bigger harddrive
ps3 bad features
1) limted number of friends allowed on friends list -1
xbox 360 bad features
1) red ring of death ( causes xbox 360 to brake very easily) -1
2) can only use 1 spicific headset -1
3) controllers need batteries -1
4) online cost money (monthley) -1
ps3: 12 xbox 360: 2
