Just wondering if anybody here watches lost. Its such a confusingly briliant show, season 4 just finished and its not back till early 2009 :(

I quit after S1, even at that point I didn't think they could ever provide a satisfactory ending.
It reminded me of the X-Files mythology episodes, and how they stretched it out whilst the show continued and we all know how badly that ended.

Not even interested. It's pretty much exactly like Survivor. The people are stranded on an island. It's basically scripted. The real people are just fine. A lot of money is made.

I used to watch it religiously and then it slowly went into a decline after it just became convoluted. Nobody seemed to act like you would in that type of situation. The fourth series was pretty good though.

Oh man, that last scene in the episode had me sobbing like a baby! :undecided:

Since you don't mind being spoiled, wait until that episode mate! All through the episode, the husband interigates him and you're certain of one thing, right until the end when the wife has a word with him and you'll be shocked, but also very moved!
It's a moving and upsetting scene, but one that is ****ing awesome! Just like all of Lost!
Btw, what do you think of Heroes mate? Also magnificent IMO!

Yes i watched lost i've watched it since the first ever episode i think it is brilliant how they have managed to keep the story going without it getting boring
and it is still on for another few years

I watched the first series of lost and really enjoyed it. Tried watching the second series and never really got back into it.. For me now it is all about Heroes, can't wait for the third series to start later this year - Second series was way too short thanks to that damn writers guild strike. I heard how the Uk is only going to be one week behind the Us in terms of screening episodes so I won't even have to bother downloading it this time!

Well i took aaaaaages to watch it and then watched all seasons 1-4 this summer ....my brain almost melted mind....but i enjoyed it ,
I think they should start wrapping it now tho or like dunny said it could end up like the x-files , or worse still ripped from tv without an ending like farscape and angel did.

I love lost! i dont have sky so am waiting for season 4 on dvd, BUT 1-3 have been amazing. I watch them over and over again.

I love Lost more than any other show on television! Two seasons left, 18 episodes and 16 episodes. Season 5 is coming January. I do all the fanboyish lost online stuff, so anyone wanting to know what the numbers are about then just pm me! (The numbers are explained in an online thing)

The Lost season 4 box set popped through my door last week. Haven't watched any of it yet. Really looking forward to it, the first three seasons were great.
I started Lost this year, it is a fantastic show. I got all the seasons on DVD in October and watched them all within a month. A fantastic show, Charlie is (was) my favourite character. Can't wait for Jan 23rd :D

yep loved the show since the very beginning and i have never missed an episode, need to get seasons 3 and 4 on DVD but will prolly get them for christmas, also charlie was my fav character aswell, cant wait for season 5 woo, plus another show that i like is starting again in january called Supernatural, wooo two great shows for the new year WOOP!!!

So far, epic. Time travel is confusing but great at the same time. No episode this week but I'll live. Coming up to the finale soon, I'm sad its ending but finales have never let me down on Lost.

I dout ross and banard just quit. My gess is that there stuck somewhare else in time OR there In the same period of time but they have been forced to become members of the others.

Bernard and Rose are somewhere and TBH I really don't care. I never found them interesting as Series 1 all Rose talked about was Bernard. Their flashback episode bored me as well.

Lost is awesome! One of the best things I've ever seen. I started this current Season, but stopped watching it because I hated having to wait a week. So I'm just going to download all the episodes when it's finished and watch them all consecutively.

Yesterdays episode= awesome. Poor Faraday. Can't believe his mother killed him the bitch. She knew it was going to happen as well! A big shock about Widmore being Dans father as well. Bring on next episode!

That's the point of a cliffhanger ending. They wouldn't end the season with nothing to look forward to.

It was a big shock that locke was not the real locke. My guess is that the fake locke is the the guy ata the start who jacob was speaking to. This leaves a question has jacks dad been passesed because he came back to life. The thing is that he new who jack was. Thats the strang thing

The guy at the beginning is definitely the new Locke. Jacob says to him, "Find your loop-hole" when he says he wants to kill Jacob. Then when he encounters Locke, he says.."You found your loop-hole" and Locke/that guy replies "I did".
I'm also curious as to what all this Egyptian stuff has to do with anything. The Anubis statue, and all the hieroglyphics that have been around throughout the series.

Well you know they have all been traveling though time right. Well what if they went back in time to when the egeptions ruled? and then the thought in a war which would be the supposed war thats comeing.
Or what about this.....
They allready thought in a war back in egeption times and won. Now they bad guys are coming back so they have to fight them again and they have been reborn for this purpose they just dont know it yet. All the people that thought in the war are the people that Jacob visited.
The best part of it was the bit right at the end when it said "Final season"
Lost has gone on far too long and they are going to bring the "aliens" back (They are coming!!)
Lost is a good 3 season show that was stretched out with far too much bullshit for far too long.
They said they had a beginning a middle and an end and should've made it that way.

I think Jacob's rival has alot to do with the smoke monster because it controls and manipulates people just like Jacob done when he visited the Oceanic 6 at key moments in their lives. For example, when Ben went to be judged by the smoke monster, he was told to obey Locke. This meant that Ben was to kill Jacob.
But I think that Jacob wanted to die as this is when "It can only end once. Everything before that is progress." Jacob wants people to come to island, whereas his rival disagrees, "it always ends the same". The people on the island now are going to end the 'war' that has been mention a few times, but we may just wait and see.

Dead is dead in Lost bar flashbacks and hallucinations. Richard said it himself, when you die, you die, you don't come back. It sucks that it's like that but it is.

cannot wait for season 6. and have no idea whats gonna happen. hopefully it will fully explain the numbers, the smoke monster, jacob, walt and hurley.(amongst other things).

my theory is the new locke is the black smoke monster who is also the guy from the beginning of the last and is able to change shape. i also believe that jacob is a white smoke monster the whole black/white good/evil has croped up to much that there must be a oppisite to the black smoke plus that would explain how he is able to travel off the island so often and return and why he is immortal but with the whole nuke at the end who knows they might have just reset the whole chain of events that led to jacob being killed aslong as desmond is ok as he is my fav character

sorry to bring this back old thread back up but with lost season 6 coming out in just over a month, the need to start talking about lost and most importantly, my abilitiy to know make a new thread through me being simply lazy :p who has seen all the episodes and more importantly what are you looking forward to in season 6? i can't wait :D
