Unlucky man. I just got really frustrated just now on GTA 4, I was getting really far and then it froze. :( I haven't saved it since Roman's taxi!
Lesson to be learnt for me though, save whenever you can :(

OH FUCK YES! i turned it off for about an hour or so and now it read the disc... but getting an error when i start the game

I got this after the first dodgy firmware update(not 2.40, i survived that:D), I had just got Assassins creed as well. Sony had to swap machines.

thats how it started for me in the end it will go totally best to get it replaced as soon as you can before it full goes

because trust me in the end it will i got sick of playing psn games when mine broke lol
