The sequel for FFXIII has just been announced by Square Enix at their 1st Production Department Premier event in Tokyo today, which goes hand in hand with the website domain registered for the game recently.

I'm starting to thunk thus will be released due to a delay on versus. Just guessing tho. I'm excited. But I'd like a mire open world game this time.

Lightning in full armour :happy:. This will be a must from me. I loved ff13, and actually quite enjoyed the story so really interested how they continue on.

Oh and if Snow died inbetween games, I wouldn't be sad :L

EDIT: I wonder if your save game from 13 will help in any way!!?

same as kjkg for me, loved the story and detail. i do also prefer the more "open" world like most people seem to. but for me, any final fantasy game is a must buy and i will enjoy it more than any other RPG.......Skyrim maybe an exception this year

Eh, I haven't played the first XIII yet but I'm sure I'd like it since i enjoy pretty much all forms of RPG. If the story is good then I'll get 2 as well.

Wow! I better get my skates on, I havent played FF13 yet. What will be the difference with Versus, I know a lot of people ask the question.

The more FF the better, although I wish they could go back to FF10 method....I loved it. It was new, but not too different like the recent ones are.

Think versus is set on an earlier timeline to the original FFXIII but i might be wrong

I'm pleased to see new games and something to start the excitement and hype, loving more FF trophy lists and did enjoy FFXIII and would like to see more of it and Pulse etc
