Resident Evil going elsewhere?

Yet again another game in the series is coming to another gaming console, We've already lost 2 games on the Wii and now we wont get to play the next installment Resident Evil Revelations, which is coming to the DS. The trailer dont show much, but looks good. Is this another route where Capcom decide to stick with Nintendo for the forseeable future?

i think the main series will stay on playstation. it's just spin-offs that's going on nintendo ds

Looking on the wikipedia page, they've listed Revelations as part of the main series. Even still i believe we should still have it, not everyone wants to buy a Nintendo to play a handful of games.

This is just like the Kingdom Hearts series going on the DS. It will probably be just filler games to fill in the empty spaces in the Resident Evil Storyline. Maybe?

I hope we dont loose Resident Evil. RES5 is one of the games i've enjoyed the most and would welcome another game to the PS3. Maybe now that we have the Move, the wii will loose its advantage in that area?

Really hoping they do a RE6, i wanna see some more resident evil particularly in the style of RE4/RE5. Plus my mate and i were discussing RE5 for the 2 years up to number 5, such anticipation.
