Bandwidth Donor - Boost me bandwidth?

Hi

Does anyone know how i can boost me bandwidth so i can get the Bandwidth Donor trophy? At the moment I've only got enough to host a game for 4 people so i cant set up a ranked game.

Preferably without having to buy anything or sign up to anything.

Is your PS3 wired and not wireless? That can make a BIG difference on your bandwidth, other than that make sure that you have nothing else taking any bandwidth from you ie a PC. If that still doesnt help then it's down to your phone line being crap or your broadband package being slow. Sorry...

Nah, it is wireless.

So, if i turn off the PC will it work or do i actually have to disconnect it from the internet?

Turning it off and disconnecting it doesnt work so i guess i'm in the same boat as you guys.

Wire your PS3 via the Ethernet, and make sure the PC isn't using ANY of the bandwidth by either turning it off, removing the Ethernet from the PC, or disabling your Wireless connection.

I've known people go from only being able to host 4 players, to doing the above and being able to host a 12 player game.
