my reaction to the trophy hack news was the same as yours... "Why!?..." its the same EVERYTIME someone cheats, whether its map glitches or trophy hacks.... WHY??!! CHEATING RUINS GAMING! i hate cheaters. they're the WORST type of gamer. or do they even deserve to be called 'Gamer' if they're not gaming properly. makes me sick.

Not that i disagree with you but a gamer would mean one who plays the game. Now how he decides to play it may be different to yours, but doesnt mean he cant be called a gamer. What you are indicating is a honest, ethical gamer...which tbh is a quality which lacks in every aspect of our existence. There isnt anything left in the world that is done honestly & ethically by everyone belonging to that field.

You know what im going to go out on a limb and say this and probably get hurled abuse from all directions, but im glad there are people out there hacking code, i truely dont have any interest in people putting a game in and getting instant platinums, if they wanna spend $40 or £40 a time for instant platinums that is there choice they cant get online anyway so its never going to be able to be viewable to others so leave them to sit in their bedrooms looking at there instant platinum collections on there own in the dark, but for people like me who have had major trophy glitches this shit is like a shining light at the end of a tunnel.

I have plummetted hundreds of hours into BFBC and several more hundreds into BFBC2, and while i have my BFBC2 platinum i was cheated out of my BFBC "Iam bad company" trophy and ultimately my BFBC platinum is lost in limbo forever, if i could exploit this hack method to unlock this trophy for myself - which by the way i rightfully should have as i have all the requirments for the trophy above, then that is a positive and although slightly carefree way of looking at it but a positive implimentation of hacks like this, DICE are never going to fix this although they say they are working on it, so im all for hacks like this being used for people that have been glitched and have done all requirements for something they can never get and for the people who wanna load a game up get platinum and move onto the next well i say let them, they cant even log onto psn so they buy a ps3 for £250+ and cant use 80% of its features hahaha to them i say!

Rotary Rex, thats true......however whats to stop someone platinuming all the old games they have/they can rent then updating the firmware and having access to psn with a significantly higher trophy count. Thers always a way around these things which makes me wana cry lol Yes I can understand your frustrartions and happiness at a way to get a trophy u rightfully earned, but again we all know if thers somehting the community can abuse (right or not) people within that community will use it........its a sad fact but in the end thats whats wrong with jailbreak. It can be used to add features to the ps3 which it should have, opening it up to OS's, Emulators and much much more but unfortunately you can also pirate games which a few will abuse.....and thus killing off jailbreak in the eyes of the law.
