During the EA press conference at Gamescom, as well as announcing Mass Effect 2 on PS3, BioWare also released a new trailer and release date for Dragon Age 2.

The game will be coming to PS3, 360 and PC on March 8th in the US, and March 11th in the UK.

Quite impressive that they have the second game coming out already, considering they are still pumping out the DLC for the first game. I don't know if i'll be able to Platinum the first one.

But it's good news they are still bringing out RPG's, they now need to start focusing on MMORPG :)

The trailer can be found here (http://dragonage.bioware.com/)

I gave up on my first playthrough of the first game. If they try to bring out stupidly expensive DLC's for this one i wont be interested :(

If they use Mass Effect's engine on DA2 that will be quality. They said theres a new combat system, hopefully its going to be another RPG when you target someone, press a button to attack, kill them, Target, attack, kill, etc. I prefer it more like oblivion where you control the combat.

Bad news then mate, I read in this month's OXM about the new Elder Scrolls and they said its not going to be out for a few years (Understandably).

The combat I saw was a lot more action-oriented than in the first game, at least with the warrior which was the only available class during the demonstration. It does seem to be controlled like the first game, only more fast paced etc.
