1) Use the boosting thread to find at least 10 members who are willing to boost at a specified time. It is worth having more players as back-ups. Players should add each other on PSN via Friend Requests.
2) On the day of the boosting, players should all meet up under 1 party of 10 players. All players should then enter a chatroom where all communication will be made. 2 party leaders should then be decided. It is essential that the 2 party leaders both have a mic.
3) The 2 party leaders then choose a different clan tag each; eg- DLC1 and DLC2. One party leader then creates their own party, taking 4 players with them, so that both party leaders have 5 players, including themselves. All players should then enter the same clan tag as their party leader.
4) Matchmaking setting for all 10 players should be the same, so that everyone has their matchmaking set to either Default or DLC. Once again, all 10 players must have the same matchmaking setting. Use Text Chat to confirm this.
5) At this point both parties should keep communicating via Text Chat. Both parties should choose the 'RANKED' playlist, and when ready, attempt to search at the same time. If, during matchmaking, 5 players are found at the same time, then hope to get paired up. However, if only 1 or two players are found and it is still searching the other 3, then both parties should back out and attempt to search again. Remember to use the Text Chat to know when the parties should search/ back out. 'RANKED' is the least used playlist, and so has the best chance for parties to get paired up.
6) When the 2 parties have been paired up, the 2 party leaders should then ensure an organised boosting session. One way to do this is this: each player should boost only with their partner. A player's partner is the player whose name appears opposite theirs. In other words, when the game starts, each player should press 'Select' and see the name of the player from the opposite team appearing next to theirs. Everyone should then go off in an area with their partner and take turn boosting. Medals such as 'Tricky', 'Afterlife', 'Retaliation', 'Put'em Down' and 'Triple Threat' can be earned easily this way.
For 'Protectorate', each team should take turn so that there is 1 person holding the treasure, and one person from the opposite team shooting the treasure bearer once. The person shooting the treasure bearer should then be killed by their partner only. So it should look like this: player 2 shoots the treasure bearer; partner of player 2 shoots player 2. Player 3 shoots the treasure bearer; partner of player 3 shoots player 3; etc... Rinse and repeat.
All players should:
. be patient throughout the boosting
. cooperate with each other
. be courteous to the party leaders
. follow instructions
Using the method above I plan to set up a boosting group. I know there are other but nothing seems to have happened (So far, for me anyway). So gona set this one up.
