i have just bought an lg chocolate for £30 and wondered how much it costs to send a text to an o2 phone as my girlfriend is on o2 and i cant be bothered unlocking it for £20:D

it will be 12p or thats what they charge for contract customers anyway so im guessing the same.
yeh 10 or 12p the only real benefit is in call charges as x network payg prices per minute are usually stupidly high.
also o2 just set their minimum call charge at 20p so if you ring and get voicemail thers 20p gone straight away... total con!
the o2 sim wher u top up £10 pe rmotnh and get 300 free texts plus your £10 for extra texts/ calls kinda makes up for this. I still think im gona go bak on contract soon tho
