Hot on the heels of our revealing of the Game Of The Year edition of Assassin’s Creed 2 on Monday is this leak, reportedly from GameStop and confirmed by Ubisoft as ‘real’. The image, a photo of an inlay for a pre-order in the American retailer, shows the next in the Assassin’s Creed lineage, this next game dubbed “Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.”

According to Kotaku, the game will continue to feature Ezio, how is now a “legendary master assassin” and follows him in his “struggle against the Templar order.” Brotherhood will be based in Rome, and will feature “innovative” online multiplayer options.

Ubisoft have replied to the leak, confirming the authenticity of the image and are promising more information on the game next week, which is probably when Gamestop should have put out the pre-order cards.

This one isn't DLC, but it is still set in the AC2 timeline, obviously with Ezio.

Can't you at least rewrite these stories in your own words? It's getting boring reading these on TSA then coming on here and seeing you've copied it and put source at the bottom. Even an extra paragraph at the bottom with a little bit of insight and opinion. If you want people to be interested and respect this site then you should offer some extra information.

not everyone scans the tinterweb for every scrap of info, leave the kid alone if you already know don't enter the topic it's just common sense.

Thanks Akumatron now I know to wait a bit longer to get AC2 aswel as knowin' 'bout AC3

More Assassin's Creed, i'll have some of that... wonder how online would work for a game like this, something like a lone assassin trying to sneak around or something, reminds me of MGS.

Correct me if im wrong, but was this story not released a few months ago (with maybe less info) and it was pretty much confirmed that it was not Assassins Creed 3? its just a continuation of the story? (ak I know you never said it was AC3, merely stating this so people wont talk about AC3)

If im wrong, sorry, but I am getting Déjà vu just now.

Here (http://www.ps3trophies.co.uk/showthread.php?t=47281&highlight=assassins) is the original post about it, but with less information on it.

I'm older than you! :P

But anyway, yes I agree....not everyone uses TSA, so all I am doing is copying the news from there...I am not stating it's my news, hence the source tag. It takes all of 10 seconds to work out you have read it before, so it's no hardship.

Sounds like a good game in the making. I think it's safe to assume Ubi won't do any trophy DLC for AC2 so I think I'll get rid of my copy, it has no replay value for me. Maybe the new one will?

Eurgh, Assassin's Creed will NOT work with multiplayer

AC2 is the story taking place before AC: Brotherhood. They both follow the same character (Ezio) who is a assassin obviously. Think of it like AC2 part 2 but with multiplayer and it doesnt follow Assassins creed story so if you want to continue the Assassins story go with AC2 and if you want mutiplayer and a new story go Brotherhood.
