Contents of first Bioshock 2 DLC Pack revealed

2K Games have revealed on their Cult of Rapture (http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/article/sinclairsolutionstestpack) website that the first DLC Pack for Bioshock 2, called the Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack, will be multiplayer focused.

The pack will contain 2 new characters (named Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca), 20 new trials, 5 new masks, a third upgrade for all weapons and an increase in the level cap from 40 to 50. The price for the US store is $4.99 (so expect something around £4-£5 for the UK) and it will be available in March.

A few weeks ago 2K's Senior Systems Designer, Kent Hudson, said they were "working on agressive plans for DLC" for both the online and single player aspects of the game, so don't expect this to be the only pack making its way to the store over the coming months.

It is unclear as of yet whether this pack will come with extra trophies for the multiplayer, but it looks doubtful. However, I have left a message on the official Bioshock 2 Twitter (http://twitter.com/BioShock2) regarding this. If they get back to me I'll let you guys know.

With the extra AC2 sequences not having them and now this, it doesn't appear that DLC has to contain trophies, especially if it's just stuff like extra characters and trials, etc. It could still have them but they just didn't mention it. If I hear anything I'll post in here. ;)

Hmm i loved the multiplayer, but rapidly losing interest in it.

Unsure wether this will grip me more or make no difference.

Does that cover DLC too? I only thought trophies were only mandatory for full games.

The Heavy Rain DLC didn't have any extra trophies either.

havent really played much multiplayer yet but loved the game. Must have another try, still got plenty of trophies to hunt down! Whether I get this DLC will depend on the price, and if it will enhance the game any.
