New 1.05 patch on trophies.

Just wondering, with the new trophies for Uncharted 2 with the new patch, are they necessary to get the Platinum trophy. I was on my way to plat'ting the game but now these trophies appeared - i'm somewhat angry since they multiplayer orientated, which i mean, i don't hate, but to get 1000+ kills is crazy :D

The new trophies do seem to have a cross on them, does that mean they are excluded from platinum completion?

Anyone have any idea?

Dlc is always excluded from the platinum, this cross is something to do with a new feature where dlc doesn't affect percentage unless you buy it.

Wonder wether you can lose the platinum if you had it, but bought the new DLC?
Does the DLC really exclude from the main trophies untill you buy them?
E.G Call of Duty World at War. They've got bunches of DLC trophies (nazi zombies etc.)

I wondered what those plus signs were.

However, the trophies do still seem to affect percentage; the only two games I have where the DLC has plus signs are Uncharted 2 and Topatoi, and my percentage has gone down on both; on XMB as well as when comparing :(

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure how the system works myself. I'm going to check if my 100% is no more, and if so I have picked up the new system wrong..

You can never 'lose' a platinum, once you've got it it's yours, regardless of DLC that might be released. There'd soon be a furor over it if you could lose platinums, given how much time and effort they take to achieve generally ;)

My percentage also dropped when the DLC was added to the list. Not as bad as Fallout 3 though - my 100% dropped to 53% :stunned:

I am well on my way to getting the plat here, glad to hear I will get it without having to do the dlc trophies, pretty crap that your % comes down without you buying the dlc, that should be sorted, the 100% looks good on your list.
