Dont know about option of doing crushing chapter wise, but as you have to play each chapter on crushing anyways, why not just start a new game on crushing anyways? Its not that you can use any tweaks in crushing anyways until u beat it....

You have to start a New Game on Crushing, completing them individually won't count.

The final boss is a real challenge on Crushing. Tbh honest that fight was my least favourite part of the game.

Anyway I eventually defeated him by using the infinite ammo glitch and just hammering him with grenades. And even then it took a few tries.

Cheating I know, but I'd completed the game twice in two days and by that point I just wanted the plat. Besides that, it simply didn't seem possible to come anywhere close to beating him using the method I'd used on Hard!

Method I used the first time to kill lezzybitch was the one you can find on youtube. Just run to the left immediately and jump up onto that square shaped raised platform near two sap pods, then shimmy around left and right, firing at the pods as you go. I did hard the regular 'run around and hope' way which wound me up horribly heh, this alternative method is considerably easier, especially on crushing.
When I ended up switching to a new profile I did ended up using the ammo glitch because I couldn't be bothered doing it properly a second time; that fight really is far too annoying heh.

The way i did was using the youtube video of being very close to him where he picks u up from ur neck and then throws u. 3 times and then u get a sap pod nearby...just keep doing this. The only thing to remember in this method is that you shouldnt be in an open space, as then he will throw u across the room rather than just near him.

Lol I used the same strategy I did on hard which was running around in a circle shooting sap pods behind me. By doing so I found this linear pattern in his movements while running in that same circle over and over again. Simply put if you run in a circle so will he. I found Uncharted: Drake's Fortune a lot harder to be honest

^ definetely drake's fortune was way harder, except the last boss in DF is easier.

And more fun.

Much, much more fun.

Run around and shoot the exploding blue sacks? What a great way to end an otherwise epic game, Naughty Dog :S

Have to agree with the above, DF's was way more fun, even on crushing.

just cant seem to waste the fool, so i gave up on my plat, shame as its only 1 trophie away.

platted df, last boss can be done blindfolded in comparison

i never give up or cheat. i beat Lazaravic as your meant to, on Hard AND Crushing. i just run around the area until i get past a Sap pod, then turn around and shoot it when Lazaravic is near it. yes it took a few tries, (even more on Crushing) but i did it eventually. infact i struggled more on the first part of the Broken Paradise chapter. wher you, Chloe and Elena have to fight off 2 Guardians with AK's, then a third. (they're crossbows did devastating damage and they'd always fire 2 or 3 shots in rapid succession)

ps... dodge.. DON'T give up. Never give up. you CAN do it. just keep trying. i wouldn't've 100%ed Trash Panic if i'd given up.
bottom line - NEVER GIVE UP, YOU ONLY FAIL IF YOU STOP TRYING!!

why do you just look a gift horse in the mouth while your at it? lol, fuck doing Hard normally, that's what Crushing is for, and besides who to say that not using the unlockable's is the way you're supposed to? I don't see no penalty for using them, if the devs meant for us to NOT USE them they'd lock them out like they do for Crushing.

and for the record, "Trying is the first step towards failure"

hmm, you have good points there.
a) i meant "as your meant to" as in realistically. if it was real, you wouldn't have infinite ammo, or glitches to exploit. do you see what im saying. i always try to play as realistically as i can. its just my preferred playing style. cheats make it too easy for me.
b) i suppose trying IS the first step towards failure. HOWEVER, i never take the path to "failsville", i trek all the way to "port Success". and try to encourage others to get there too.

LOL :D

fair enough, but I think games are real enough, it's nice to add a bit of fun now and then, gaming is losing it's soul, it seems to be all about realism now and less about fun, more about the same fucking action game again and again and less innovation.

Yeah think about GTAIV, some would argue it's one of the best games of this gen. but alot of the fanbase still regard San Andreas or earlier incarnations as the better game due to what you were able to do. IRL you wouldn't have an endless supply of parachutes magically appearing on top of the tallest building in the city, but that's what made it fun ;)

well, when playing Uncharted, a realistic story game, THEN i wanna play realistically. but for more UNrealistic things like Just Cause 2, then i play crazy style.

nah, if I wanted realistic I'd go outside, I play games to get away from it and have fun.

"I play games to escape the inevitable demoralisation and destruction of our feeble existance... *brushes emo fringe in front of face*" ;) but yeah, reality and games should always have a buffer.
