My soul levels too high to help directly. But if your having lots of trouble you could stand at the fog and shoot the first one with arrows, you can kill it before entering. Then enter to fight the second one and run up the stairs and keep the fire between you, he shouldn't be able to hit you.

That arrow trick might work, I'm fine with the first one until he spawns the next one, then it turns into a slaughter.
I'm soul level 75 now if anyone wants to help

It would help if you mentioned which version you are playing as well.

Some people can breeze through Maneater while some have real trouble.
I'm of the latter myself and find magic my best option when alone. Ignite or Firestorm do well. Just be careful when wearing the Monks Head Collar as it can and will obstruct your view.
An even better option is to bring a bluey or two with you.

I've been getting on quite well with the first one with flame-toss and fire-spray. Its when the second shows up they just splatter me. I dont have the monk collar yet...
I've been tring to get a bluey (as they are now officialy called) but no one ever drops there sign in that area or is soul level 125 too high in that area for people on NG+.
Thats why I'm on here almost begging for help. (almost)

Lol. Blueys in world 3 at that soul level may be quite rare. It isn't that people don't play the levels but more to do with the Old Monk. He has this habit of searching for soul signs throughout the world and summoning players to be the 3-3 boss and he's pretty damn quick at it as well.
Keep looking around for those soul signs and if you see one then grab it quick. It doesn't sound as if you will have much luck finding someone from here to join you but have you tried any other forums like GameSpot?
Another tactic to try might be the good old spear/rapier and shield method. Strafing around the brazier might help. I'd recommend this against a generic Old Monk as well (Dark Silver Shield obviously).
I really would suggest using the arrows glitch to get rid of the first one before activating the fog. It almost feels as if the Maneater was originally supposed to be one creature but the arrows glitch was discovered in testing and the devs thought it would be more interesting to keep the glitch but throw in a second creature halfway through the battle.....

The arrow glitch on NG+ gets rediculusly boring cause it does like 10 damage a hit

If I hadn't died just as the first Maneater died, we'd have whooped the second one. We'll beat it later.

For the first one fire bows at him until he dies then enter the fog. Now it's easy because you can just stay in the middle near the fire and keep running round it as protection then when you can fire at him. Rinse and repeat. ;)

It takes so long on NG+ it's not even worth it.

Upgrade it? I have a bow +3 so not far of full upgraded bow. It should hopefully do lot's of damage on NG+. :)
And fire is also quite effective against them.

I'm using the sticky bow +3 and holy arrows which do more damage to him than fire ones, it still takes forever to kill it. It might just be because my dexterity and strenght are only 20.

If you don't think you are causing enough damage with your arrows then try a little combination....
Viscous Compound Longbow +5
Hard Arrows
Clever Rats Ring
Morion Blade
Curse Weapon/Makoto
If you've been summoned or have invaded then make use of the Friend and Foe rings as well.

I've found myself a wat of beating both Maneaters in about 20 seconds(without using the arrow glitch). What I did was let the first Maneater run at me and as it was doing this I kept hitting it with Fire Spray, when it got close enough I hit it with Fire Storm which killed it, I quickly refilled my magic points before the second one, I stayed where I was and just repeated the process.
So now the Flamelurker has taken the place from the Maneater as hardest boss in my opinion.
Side note: My magic level was 89 at the time. I was also using: The Monks Head Collar, Kris Blade+5, Ring of MAgical Sharpness and Talisman of Beasts.

As all good spellcasters should! :-)
On a side note I remember once being a bluey against Maneater. We had both killed the first one with arrows and while I was faffing about changing my equipment my buddy had broken through the fog and legged it to the Old Monks end of the bridge. The second Maneater flies down to his usual starting spot and starts lumbering towards me. A little strange perhaps as I'm not wearing the Accursed Ring or passed through the fog yet! Long story short; he died very quickly from Firestorm through the fog. :-D

I'll feel like such a hack...OK, I'm only on my first game but when it came to Maneater, I just chopped away at them (take out the tail first to weaken them) with a crescent falcion whenever they landed...took a few attempts but got there in the end.
The one I'm having problems with is the False King...the mongral's soul sucked 5 levels off me...

I'd advise for your first playthrough get a group of people to help you take him down.
OR.
If your a magic user, just hit him Fire Storm 3 times or if you don't have Fire Storm, run around him i cirles firing Soul Ray at him.
Magic really is a big game breaker.
