Besides a few notable additions, it's a pretty average update this week. There's the aforementioned ModNation Racers Beta (http://www.ps3trophies.co.uk/showthread.php?p=327931#post327931) (first 100,000 takers only), plus a rather enticing Heavy Rain Dynamic Theme. As far as I can tell, though, the theme is the same one that will be available in the Heavy Rain Special Edition - just a warning before you part with your hard earned pennies.

May I suggest that somebody (or a couple of people perhaps) create new PSN accounts and download the Beta? That way it would be possible to share it around without risking anybody's proper account. It's certainly the only way I'll be able to get in, won't be home from work until 7 at the earliest :(

I got the 4 games except Mahjong in the special offers and modnation beta...i liked the update. The 3 themes are a nice addition too, though i wont be buying them.

Nah, it opened yesterday. I quite liked it, reminded me more of Diddy Kong Racing on the N64 rather than Mario Kart. But like Viper said, the load times are a joke.

Downloaded the Modnation racers beta, doubt i'll ever play it though. Did the same with Mag and nearly every other demo/beta i've downloaded in the past. It just sits in my XMB because i cba to install it...

However, i did get the heavy rain dynamic theme with a few quid leftover from my account. Very good looking, if you like that kinda dark and moody stuff i guess

I adore ModNation, yes the Load times are a joke and when I finally got it online it got so laggy that it destabalised the game. But it is a Beta and it's our duty as beta testers to catalogue these faults, how and when we expienced them so that the final game won't be this bad. Remember folks Beta not Demo.

During races though, the game is like Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, heck even hints of Snow Boarding Kids, but it's also it's own game, in fact tbh the only reason it feels like these games is because it's a fun, zany, karting game. I'm going to be spending some serious time on this and have a preview in the works for our members who missed/going to miss (is it closed yet?) this beta.

I quiet enjoyed the game and i can see its got a lot of potential for being a great game to play when you want to kill some time, or just have some fun with a few friends etc.
