EU to get ModNation Racers Beta

According to an announcement on the PlayStation Blog (http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2010/01/19/modnation-beta-release/) by James Grieve, Technical Director at United Front Games, the ModNation Racers Public Beta will be available on PSN in the EU, Australia and New Zealand from today (21st).

The beta has been available in the US for a while now, and thanks to the amount of useful feedback it generated they have decided to expand it to other territories. Grieves said on the blog:


"One thing we were disappointed in was that we weren’t able to release the European Public Beta simultaneously with the North American version. Because of this, we have decided to open up a couple of new tracks and we hope you really like them. They will give you a taste for a little more of what the ModNation Racers experience will have to offer and hopefully they make up for the wait."

Definitely worth checking out, methinks.

Normally by 5-6pm...i will keep checking on an hourly basis though.

May I suggest that somebody (or a couple of people perhaps) create new PSN accounts and download the Beta? That way it would be possible to share it around without risking anybody's proper account.


I probably should have made the above post in this thread actually... It worked with the GoW III demo, hopefully it'll be the same with this Beta.

There's still just under 90% of the allocated beta places still left, so you should get one easily.

i got one and that game is unplayable at the minute but i think i played it during a server update. The load times were just too much for anyone

I think all places have gone now, I looked on the store and couldn't see it there at all, I might be wrong but I figure it's full now.
