Nolan's big mouth inadvertently confirms Uncharted 3!

Chances are if you have played a video game in the last 3 years, Nolan North has voiced a character in it. A quick look at his IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0636046/) profile shows smash hits such as Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves & Halo 3: ODST as well as other smaller titles. His recent interview with GamePro goes to show he just can't keep that mouth of his shut as he confirmed sequels to two of 2009's biggest games: PS3T's 2009 GOTY Uncharted 2 & critically acclaimed Assassin's Creed 2.


"2010 is gonna be a busy year, There are sequels to Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 that need to be done, not to mention a couple of other big premiers that are still unannounced."

Thanks Nolan. Uncharted 3 was gonna come out anyway but it's nice to see it's basically been confirmed by the main voice actor. Nolan North you the man! XD

Wow AC3 and UC3 in THIS year...thats brilliant. 2 of the best games of 2009, cant wait for the series continuation, as long as they dont make any compromises if they rush it. I trust Naughty Dog too, they have always delivered quality products, while Ubisoft is good too.

*He* never said anything about release dates, just because he is doing voice work for the games (both sequels were inevitable anyway) doesnt mean it is being released this year. In all likely hood it will probably be in around 2 years time ish (say Chrimbo 2011 early 2012).

If you have watched any of the behind the scenes footage you will have seen that the voice actors for Uncharted go back and re-dub the game many times in order to get such a rich narrative, often being allowed to simply spout what comes in to their mouths as well as reading from a script. This process usually takes quite a number of months in itself to complete.

I wonder if Nolan's going to loan his voice to the new InFamous game?

Especially after a voice actor on Twitter revealed he had an audition for some role in the game, would make sense as that would be another big thing for Nolan to do.

I thought Ac3 was officially announced after AC1, dont know why but thought they said that they were making a trilogy.

U3 will be awesome though. Both previous titles have been outstanding, and set a new bar for games.

Excellent to have Uncharted 3 and Assassin's Creed 3 officially announced! It has also been confirmed that Assassin's Creed 3 will have online play for the first time in the franchise, too!

I hope Uncharted 3 will be split-screen multiplayer, and with the option of bots in split-screen and online multiplayer too, as that would certainly help to take the game onto the next level in terms of its multiplayer and overall experience.

We can assume that the other two games will be inFamous 2 and Resistance 3. It doesn't list who he voiced, but it says on Nolan North's IMDB Profile that he voiced a character in Resistance: Fall Of Man. However, who knows, the other game that we may assume, could be KillZone 3! Either way, it will be a very busy 2010 for Nolan North! :D

I think Uncharted 3 with online co-op campaign option would be brilliant. ANd AC£ with multiplayer can possibly raise the standards of the series to a new level, as a platforming multiplayer action would be pretty unique, as long as they dont screw it up.

If there is a uncharted game on PSP then I imagine that it will be made by another company. Most likley by the same people that made Daxter and the GOW for PSP.
