Multiplayer.... arghhhhh

Hi guys, how on earth does the co-op work? Me and my cousin have been trying for the past 2 days to get in the same world as each other. We are at a similar level (found out that it had to be within 10 levels of each other), i'm at 69 and he is at 66, he was in body form while i was in soul form and yes we do have the same version (US). I was just wondering why this wasn't working, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yep should definitely work, no matter NG+ or anything... it's 10 under 100, so that's no problem. You're looking for the blue stone correct? It will appear as his PSN name not his character... not sure if this will help though.

When I put a blue soul message down, my cousin can't find it even though he's says he's at the place where i told him i've put it but it's very frustrating..... I were trying help him get most of the unique weapons but he'll have to resort to his "official guide". Thanks anyway E-Seal.

To be able to summon someone you have to be in an area that you have NOT yet beaten on the current playthrough. Hope this helps. Sorry for taking me so long to reply to something that I have known forever, just took me a long time to remember this annoying little fact about summoning.

To clarify, you CAN get summoned as a blue phantom to any area no matter what (infinite times), but you CANNOT SUMMON other players while in human form to an area that you have beaten in the current playthrough.

Then you are probably doing something wrong. Every time I and my friends try to summon with bluestones it always works as long as we follow the rules for summoning, which E-Seal has already explained.

My cousin hadn't beaten the flamelurker and that was the area (just before fog to flamelurker) where i had placed the blue message but he still couldn't see it. This is the only flaw to the game that I have found, but other than the incompetency of two people unable to get into the same world than this game to me is perfect.

I tried to do this with someone last night. Couldnt get it to work at all, I kept getting summonded by other people so gave up in the end.

Only thing is other than that, connection issues. My friend that I was trying to connect with failed every time he went and reset his connection to NAT Type 2 and it worked.
