Rate Bioshock 2 trophy difficulty

Im not voting, before anyone flames me. Ill wait until i have platinumed it first. But other than the level up to 40, the MP ones are too easy imo. All I need is to play in all levels, and rescue a little sister. When i get to level 40 im sure i will have managed both of these.

I just wish they had made some trophies to do with the trial in the game. But cant complain too much, the game is awesome.

Yeah I am only on 75% at the moment but I think this is going to be an easy plat, I just didn't manage to research everything somehow and I missed a fair few upgrade points. But I will try to get the rest of the online ones then cast my vote, at the moment I will say 4/5 as it really isn't to hard

5 people have voted. Bloody idiots.

Pathetic how easy it is compared to the first. I give it 3 since I got the harder (if there is any) trophies done.

Big Brass Balls & Grand Daddy are pretty thuf. so is the whole playthrough on hard. so i dont think anyone who have voted or leaved a comment really have played the game seriously.

I'm confident this will have been said more than once before, but there is surely no point voting on a game's trophy difficulty until you are within a hair's breadth of the plat/100% - in most cases, how can you know for sure how difficult a trophy will be until you have actually attempted it yourself?

Example: Frostie mentioned Grand Daddy being tough (not having a go at you mate, I'm agreeing with you!) - I got this without even trying, somewhere near the start of the game. Not entirely sure how I fulfilled the requirements tbh!

Another example: The trophy for opening all the flowers containing credits at the end of Flower. This is widely acknowledged to be a really easy trophy, but it took me at least five attempts to get it.

My point: However easy/hard the majority of people find a given trophy, it does not necessarily mean that you will have the same experience with it, so don't rate based on the fact that the general concensus says that you have only easy trophies left to get!

And don't even get me started on people who vote on a trophy list just by the way it looks!

For me, this trophy list does seem quite a bit easier than the first Bioshock's so far, but I'm not rating it until I'm there or thereabouts...

It has been said before alot but sadly people still wont take notice of it. For some reason, people are lazy and dont even read the posts before it so Im guessing right after your post and then me agreeing with you some lazy idiot will write " i think this looks really hard, I have 5% of the trophies and Im going to rate it 10/10 because im an idiot who doesnt have any informative view on this games difficulty"

Anyway, IM STILL NOT RATING, because im only a bit into the story. So far its been easy (hard playthrough), im hoping it gets harder. The first game started really hard and got easier. I find this one easy all ready so thats why I hope it goes in the opposite direction as its predecessor.

Big Brass was done on easy, but I didn't know it could be done on any difficulty. Grand daddy wasn't hard, you just needed health packs.

For hard, tbh I abused the vita chambers...

Current trophy percentage for the game is 79%, just need to get a few misc. trophies before I finish off my last 20 levels of multiplayer.

Done all the story related trophies and up to level 26 in the multiplayer so I'd say I'm qualified to vote now. :P

I'm gonna give it a 6. The story ones will be pretty easy for most people. The only one that gave me any trouble is the Research Master trophy. After the level that you actually get the camera on there are no more thuggish splicers in the game, so you have to make sure you max out their research before you leave that area... I didn't. I also missed out on the Big Daddy research somehow. Hard mode is a doddle with the vita chambers turned on.

I really love the series, but there is definitely something lacking in this game - I think it's the characters. None of them really have as much impact or are as memorable as Frank Fontaine, Dr. Steinmann or 'Sander Fucking Cohen!' Gotta love the drill, though. :D

I agree, Sander Cohen is my favourite character, he managed to keep me amused.

what do you mean with max out the research??
im going for the platinum. i wana know this. im just in my first playtrough (hard) and currently just lookin for the radio's and all the "power of the people" so i can do the rest in my second playtrough. it would be easy if i can get that research master trophy also..

i didnt even know you need to research your enemy's for a trophy. i just search for weapons. do's that count to the counter??

Cheers for that germ, didn't realise about the Thuggish Splicers, will add that to the guide and credit you, if that's ok.

I agree with you about the game lacking that certain something that the first one had. I couldn't really put my finger on what it was, but it didn't hold my attention as easily as the first did.

EDIT: Frostie, you don't start out with the Camera, but you'll find it as part of the storyline later. You'll need to use this on enemies before you start to battle them to gain research.

I give this a 3, the trophys are really quite easy as long as you watch what your doing e.g. filming the splicers, online takes a while but i managed to do it in 3 days :).

I've done all the SP trophies and am currently at level 31 in MP with a trophy percentage of 91%. I gave this an 8 for difficulty, remember not everyone uses guides so I'm talking about the power to the people stations and diarys. You don't really need a guide for them, you just need to search every area top to bottom and don't rush. The MP trophies are nice and easy but take time to get such as the level 40 trophy. I'm finding the MP boring so its even harder to get the will to play it, lol. Overall guys its a great game regardless of my views on its MP.

A little tip for the guide would be how research works on Big sisters. If you manage to film/kill her when she has full health, you will always go to the next level of research (Note: I noticed this on easy mode). This defiantly helps due to the limited numbers of Big sisters in the game.

5/10. singleplayer is shorter and easier. multiplayer needs some serious grinding.

easy enough trophies but there are some time consuming ones and because of that i gave it a 7. getting to rank 40 with the broken buggy online is very frustrating and it took me just over 18 hours to do there are a few others that are quite hard to do without a guide but in general its much easier than bioshock 1 just way more time consuming

Gave it a 5.
Managed to complete all SP trophies in one playthrough (without a guide). It's nowhere near as hard as the first game.
MP takes a while, depending on your skill.

A 5/10 seems to be okay for this one.
It wasn't really hard
