I don't get Study Leave unless I catch up with all my coursework! :O :P
I personally would like to call it PS3 Leave, but heh that's just me.

We're the second year to not get it. Although we do finish 2 months earlier than we would, it would still be nice to get some study leave, rather than revise in school.

This doesn't belong in serious discussion!
When I was doing my GSCEs the only useful thing I did in my study leave was complete Jak II on the PS2 :P Blimey, that's over 6 years ago now...

I dunno mate, I know a lot of people that were completely against study leave when I was in school.
personally although I think it's a good idea, at the same time it's just a time to goof off. My study leave I spent every day practicing with my band for 9/10 hours a day!! Managed to through my exams with 9 Cs and 2 Bs.
If you've got the will to sit and study during that time it can seriously pay off problem is no-one cares haha

Tell me about it, it's been around the same for me, it's all fading away like a bad dream...
I remember loving Study Leave since I knew my shit and didn't need it, that's the real trick, if you learn the stuff in the classroom you don't have to spend your precious free time nose in a book.
However advice from me is to revise at least an hour a day per subject if you want to pass the exams, I didn't revise for my GCSE's but worked my butt off for A-Levels. Studying is momentary in life, video games are forever, they'll wait. And you need good grades to get into University, since that's where all the fun is (read into fun however you choose...)

i got into 3 uni's though and my grades were shit. gcse's and a-levels are not really as important as everyone makes out.

I remember my study leave last summer. Didn't do much revision, it's impossible to do revision with your console just sitting there. In the end I done all right with GCSEs but could have done better.

Just out of curiosity Pearce, which high school do you go? Seeing as we both from Manchester, I might know it.
