Chapter 25, crushing

im on this chapter, been on it for ages now, just curious how long does the last bit last, where the humans are fighting the gardians in the massive arena bit, thats got the blue flame in the centre. Seems never ending.

Forgot to mention ive been blasting loads of them and they keep respawning through the entrance down the bottom bit.

never counted them but i am certain that it's not an infinite respawning area.
stay in cover... watch them go against each other...pick up the GAU when it drops... you know the rest :)

Are you talking about the men? Cause if you are then mine did that. What you have to do is get close to the door to stop them from appearing. This should trigger the next set of enemies through the exit to the room.

must of been a glitch...got well over 200 enemies on crushing without dying, then i got cocky and died, so i stood i the entrance out where they respawned, then the sling guardians apearred. done it now.

i know exactly how u feel they never stopped spawning even with unlimited ammo and 1 shot kills, i must of killed 150 b4 i got pissed off and ran towards them shooting from the hip like a mad man, somehow i survived and it triggered the next wave of guardians

to be honest i didnt think unlimited ammo helped me out at this point in the game, they just wouldn't leave me alone, had the ammo etc but was very wierd seeing the same wave spawn all the time, i did finish the game on crushing about 30 mins later and platinum the game within the hour, got to admit the 200 gau-19 kill trophy is annoying, takes ages but i used the 'spawning problem' to get this trophy.

How did you get unlimited ammo? You have to complete it on crushing to unlock the cheats don't you?

some1 mentioned it on another thread but ill do my best 2 explain it 4 u

start a new game on crushing then at the very start quit 2 the main menu, go on2 options change the difficulty 2 hard, then go on the store bit and activate the tweaks 4 1 shot kills & unlimited ammo, then back on2 the options and change it back 2 crushing, continue back with the game u started & the tweaks will still be active

i can confirm that u will definitely get the gold crushing trophy aswell the platinum if thats all needed

yeah, it's a glitch. as mentioned before you need to go where they spawn to trigger the next enemies!

yep this happened to me to, i camped at the top letting them slug it out for well over half an hour. I tried it again and did it in les than 10 minutes.

tip: as you come into the big room, if u head down the right side there is a respawning M4. My tactic is to use an M4, take potshots at the enemies (preferably the shotgunners) and run down to get more ammo then back up. The good thing is not many enemies come this side, and if they do they usually dont notice you.
Bare in mind this may have been a glitch, but it certainly helped me non the less

that didn't happen for me don't kill the gudians becasue they help you kill the men but the men also help you kill the gudians so take cover and watch them for abit

I don't consider it a glitch personally, I just kept killing the enemies and eventually they run out and the guardians appear with slings. Took about 40 minutes all told, damn fun 40 minutes though :D Ran around the right side of the area opposite where the soldiers all spawn from, picked up a dropped shotgun then proceeded to blast everyone that got close while chloe and elena worked on distance enemies. Take out a shotgun bloke, run and grab his ammo, run back to the pillars, rinse repeat.
So yeah, the enemies aren't infinite, but there ARE a ton of them.
