View Full Version : how much harder can it get ???

so i know that each time you finish the game it gets more difficult the next time around and if you finish it again it gets even more difficult ... like in some percentage or something ...

is there a limit to that ? or the game just keeps getting harder forever ?

wow thats helpful to him. i don't personally no but can't imagine it would go on getting harder for ever. there must be some limit to it.

On the second play through it gets harder by 50% and on the third it goes up by another 8 or 10%, you'll hardly notice the difference on the third play through. Not sure about the 4th play through as I couldn't tell the difference in difficulty between 3rd and 4th. You'll be owning everything by 3rd play through anyway (or should be).

thanx for replay guys ... i'm on NG+ and i noticed that the monsters got a LOT harder than the last playthrough ... good thing to hear that on the rest completion are only 8-10% more difficult ... or else it will get insanly hard

from what i read, by the time you start again, you should have some decent weapons and armor any way. im still stuck on world one with the dragon flying over the castle wall.

now i'm in NG++ !! it game now feels soooo easy ... lol

i'm a mage with 99 Magic and the best Magic Power gear (Monk's Head Collar, Kris Blade, Insanity Catalyst and Kris Blade)

Armour is arguably all but useless from NG+ and beyond. Shame that you couldn't ever upgrade any of it or that it came with added parameters from player stats. Then it would have made a difference. :)


Have you tried Pure Black World Tendency with a Pure Black Character Tendency yet? That makes the game a little tougher. :D
