and was wondering which are the hardest parts of the game i should look out for. Ive read about the train and Leftenant Draza but i was thinking about other potencially tough parts aswell - the tank on Siege, the ice yetis, and the guardians when you dont have a crossbow. Are these hard too?

thanks, Trihex92 (feel free to add me :))

not lots harder than hard, but obviously abit harder. best thing is to remain in lots of cover :D

I'm at the final boss on crushing, which is kinda annoying, but overall it wasn't too hard.
Just take your time and put the game away for a while if you get frustrated at certain areas.

thanks guys yeh i just did Draza last night beat him with one try. I must admit walking through the Tibetan village afterwards is a nice breather. Anyway thanks :)

You could try using the glitch to get unlimited ammo and 1 shot kills in crushing if you are struggling at any point. Makes it a lot easier.

^ but that's cheating and cheating is bad :)

Chapter 22 is the hardest though. So so many enemies :(

If you can do it on Hard, Crushing is a peice of piss. It's a lot easier than Crushing on UC1, but not a complete breeze. The Yeti's/Guardians are quite easy as long as you always have some grenades handy. Also, the main 3 tips are take cover at every chance, let the AI help you (Sully/Chloe/Elena) and maintain a healthy amount of ammo, you'll need it ;)

Not exactly cheating. Not my fault if they didn't make any enabled bonuses turn off when in crushing mode. Not like it's a code/button combo you have to find and enter.

I'd also suggest stealth-killing as many enemies as possible, as it blocks others respawning on some parts and is a one-hit-kill affair. For instance, the dudes with shotguns and armour, and the dudes with RPG's don't come on chapter 23 (I think, the one where the bad guys find the Yeti's and near the end you go to a puzzle room with the earth, wind, fire and water symbols/animals puzzle) if you stealth kill everyone without being noticed in the courtyard with the large tree that leads into the secret entrance of Shambhala (spelling?!).

i finished this on normal and hard, and they were both fine... i actually think that 'hard' wasnt actually all that much harder than normal.

as for crushing, it seems to be WAY harder than 'hard'... nothing has been difficult so far, apart from now on chapter 4 where the enemies seem to kill me very easily... like i say it seems to be a massive increase in difficulty..

even from cover, if i take aim even the crappest enemies (grey with AKs) will you in about 3 shots

EDIT - just passed chapter 4, still think the diffiulty increase is quite steep, but found chaning the area you move from cover to cover helps

yeh thanks guys loads of help :) i'm in the temple at the moment with Chloe just after you meet Elena and Jeff. It doesnt seem to be much harder than hard but your right about the AKs, 3 shots and your dead. What i couldnt believe was that i managed to get the survivor trophy just before the helicopter near the hotel. I'd tried to get it on very easy but still died quite cheaply, and then i go and get it on crushing first try :) It will definitely get harder though. The train is what im worrying about

by the way how do you do that one shot kill glitch? And will it still get me the trophy?

You start a new game on crushing (or I guess just continue with your current one), you save and exit to the main menu. Go to options and change the difficulty to hard, go into the bonuses and put the one shot kill etc on, go back to the difficulty select option and put it back to crushing. Go back to your game and the perks should still be on while still on crushing difficulty.
99.9% certain you will still get the trophy.

You don't even need to stealth kill the guys next to the tree above the Shimbhala(?) entrance, you can just sneak past them to the doorway to the next section.

For the most part Crushing was fairly straightforward. Had a bit bother with Darza, as I did on Hard, but that's cos it took me a while to figure out how to take him down (hitting him when he still has his helmet on, bad idea...), and the village on Siege really pissed me off because of Tansin(?) and those eejit AI villagers getting in my way... The train, and Broken Paradise, which I really wasn't looking forward too, were both pretty plain sailing.

i can confirm 100% u do get the trophy after using that glitch, i didn't really want2 resort 2 it but i want assassins creed 2 so i wanted 2 quickly platinum this so i could trade it in asap,

if any1 uses the glitch & is having difficulty with lazarovic i found a much easier way than running around shooting the resin, just shoot it once 2 stun him a bit then aim at him and throw loads of grenades at him till u hurt him enough 4 the mini cut scene bit, then just run 2 another bit of resin and do the same again and so on till u'v beat the bitch, it took about 20 attempts till i got pissed off and tried this tactic then it worked on the second attempt

ok thanks mate for the glitch confirmation, will certainly make it easier to do. Nothing worse than having to resort to that defender pistol when u have no ammo

have you seen my thread regarding the chapter 25 problem?

i didnt know this bit would cause problems for me seeing as i decided to stay in cover and 'camp' at the top, there was wave after wave of respawning enemies, so my sugestion is to say on the move in that area, make your way down bit by bit.
other than that was an average platinum to get.

I am on chapter 15 of Crushing i think. The one where you find the key again in the snow and then loads of men come rushing to the train wreckage.

Anyway

I have found most of the game not too bad so far.

Only hard bits i think were chapter 5 Urban Warefare just after where you find the relic. My tactic was to stealth will as many as you can. Then sneaky to far end of the area. Then climb up ladder and kill the guy on top. You can then chuck a grenade at about 3 men at once and kill them all. You then dont have to kill many before you reach a cutscene thing. You can then run back to where the relic is and you cant really die from there.

The other hard bits i can think of is Chapter 10 i think One Way out where you come out of the temple and your in the middle and men are coming into the big area where you have to solve the mirror puzzle. This i just snuck out to the right. Killed few enemies on the way but legged it out. This i think is the best way.

I found the train yard quite hard. Just try and throw grenades to stop yourself from being over run and pick off snipers quickly so they cant kill you in one. Just be patient and you should survive.

The next is the train where i found it mostly easier than last time i did it. Just make sure the helicopter doesn't have to much 1 to 1 time with you. In the turret make sure you gun the missiles and its easy. Only hard bit i had there was the man at the end. Just press the buttons as prompted on the screen and get as many punches as you can in, or he hits you without you getting a prompt on screen.

That bit i said i am at, i am finding a bit hard. I find that chapter really tense as you dont really know where they are and they dont know where you are. Its probably easy to get stealth kills if you do it right though

I'm stuck on the stupid last boss on crushing (N) He seems to run faster than me, have perfect aim (not good as he kills me in a few shots), and never seems to be near sap. Hes always quite close behind me. Seriously doing my head in (N)

If you're really struggling I can only suggest you look on YouTube for the alternative method of defeating him, it's much easier than running around in circles while he chases you, though it'll likely take a few tries still. I defeated him normally the first time on crushing, then when I decided to switch accounts and had to plat the game again I did it the alternative way, it's considerably less rage-inducing :)

Done it, found a very very easy way to beat him :) Just got a few little trophies to get and plat will be mine :)
