the guys in the black seem to ruin it for me. they seem to be quite unpredictable in whether they go down in one punch after having been shot..

It's the same. I read that they take two or three shots elsewhere but the original poster seemed to get them with one everytime. This is getting on my nerves :undecided:

it's actually quite simple. it depend on where you hit your enemy which will determine wether or not the enemy will die from the punch.

for example the guys in black. when you shoot them in the chest you'll have an 80% chance to succeed ( wild guess ). if you shoot him twice in the chest he might die before you'll be able to punch him. So shoot him in the chest + leg/arm and your chances become much greater ;)

but it really just takes a little practice.

but you could also just play chapter 3 while setting the charges. there should be enough enemies and none of them will be a black armor guy.

I have done this 6 times now and all I get is the "Steel Fist Master" reward come up again and again even though i have that trophy...

Last attempt I got 17 with one punch in a row and still nothing... I think mine may be glitched :|

EDIT: I got it but only when I fired from the hip and didnt use L1 to aim...

As far as I know, using L1 doesn't affect the trophy, as you can see, I used L1 every time. Sorry to anyone who is having a problem using my guide, this was my first try on this level to get the trophy, so I can't be of much assistance :S

If they still had the combo from the first Uncharted this would be a piece of piss, but as it is the only trophy I need for Platinum is this one, and I can't unlock it to save my life... sure I've decked countless bad guys after softening them up and no joy so far.

Frustrating.
