The reason why they're selling it, is because the PS3 is doing better than the Xbox in 2 regions: Europe (PS3 51%, 360 49%), and Japan (PS3 77%, 360 23%). I guess, 2 out of 3 regions is making Microsoft think twice about their 360...

HOLY SMOKES!
but then again that price is an illusion. £100 for the console, £40-£60 a year for online, £60 for a wirless reciever to pick up the connection and around £40 for a decent game and if were looking at exclusive (which is why we should buy a console) the your looking at halo 3, gaers 2 and around 5 JRPG'S.

also forgot to mention that me, my brother and my dad play online games so thats £150 for our own accounts and if you dont get the rechargable battery kit for the controller then your taking out another loan for batteries.

and again forgot to mention thats the arcade version so you have to pay for memory sticks or a hardrive.

AND its faulty, i wouldent trust it because of red ring of death and it scratches i nice perfect circle on your discs.

Exactly.

The PS3 is still cheaper, in terms of value.

Wow, that is cheap, but then you need all the other kit, like the wireless reciever and so on.

Yeah, it seems cheap, but when you pick up all the necessary peripherals, that's where they get you
Only thing I NEEDED to buy when I got my PS3 was another controller
Plus the only other money I've spent of peripherals was my Eye (Which is preferrential)

With the arcade one, you dont even get a hard drive (I think)!
