Do MP kills count towards kill trophies?

Just wondering whether the kills I rack up during online play count towards the weapon kill trophies or not?

Hope they do as it will give me a reason to play it, otherwise I probably wont bother.

Does anyone know the correct answer to this without guessing?

I am not 100% sure but I asime so. The trophie discriptions dont say that they cant be done online.

But what about coop kills?

check how much kills you have with each gun then go online and do a game then go back and check if your stats are up.

it makes sense otherwise short of using the weapon tweaks how else would you get 50 P08 - 9mm kills? and 200 GAU - 19 kills? 5 plays of chapter 2 will net you the tranquiliser medal

just play online and find out chances are most people used weapon tweaks in single player while searching for treasures

just complete the game and purchase the weapon in the store, start up monastry on very easy and when all the guys come out around the machine gunner kill them all with the purchased gun and keep reloading the checkpoint worked for me :P

lol its way easier to get these in SP,i got all of them while getting treasures after completing the story once.

yeh its alot easier and you prob only need a few kills will each guns after using nearly all of them during the first completion!

Headshots from multi player co-op dont count in your stats.

The problem for me with this game is that the stats tracking is terrible, the ONLY negative I can find with the whole game. It has an in-game medals sections, which displays, amongst other things, the trophies you've achieved, or are yet to achieve. Would it have been so difficult for them to display your progress towards each one? Other games (e.g. Dirt 2) manage this, so why not such a massive release such as this?

It would help a lot if I could see how many kills I've got with each weapon, and therefore how close I am to each trophy. The game obviously tracks this, as it gives trophies for it, so why not show us?

Also, there's no multiplayer stats tracking at all. Where's my KDR? How many games I've won and lost? The multiplayer is very good, but it really should have a stats section, and a leaderboard!

There are stats... in the main menu you can navigate to your stats page, there it shows everything - how many kills you have with each gun, how many headshots, stealth kills, etc. You can use this info to see how close you are to the trophy requirements

The stats page doesn't tell you how many kills you have with each weapon unless I'm missing something.
