Crushing mode

I have completed the game on hard and have now started playing through again on crushin difficulty. Has anyone got any tips? Would really like to platinum this game, but I keep getting killed easily. You can only take 3 hits and you're dead on this difficulty.

Use blindfire a lot and when you fire people from cover and at a distance, like sniping, look out, take aim, go back into cover and then go back up and take the shot. That way you'll already have a perfect aim the second you look out the 2nd time, leaving the enemy no time to kill you.

Other than that I dunno, I didn't really have problems on it. Good luck and enjoy :)

Grenades are your friend, throw them at a group of enemies to flush them out and you don't have to worry about them shooting back at you since they're too busy scattering away from the blast.

Thanks for the tips. At the end of chapter 25 now, just got the big boss to go. Might struggle a bit there

last boss is simple, what i did was,

You start at top of stairs, so
1. Run to bottom of stairs
2. Shoot sap at top of stairs
3. Run just round corner of the tree towards the lake,
4. Shoot sap at bottom stairs,
5. Run round right of the tree by the lake,
6. shoot blob.
7, Run back to top of stairs via lake / stairs,
he will climb top of stairs so you can repeat

Repeat, if sap hasnt respawned, re run the route till it has.


Dont need to go over tree bridge (suicide as he usually shoots the sap in middle), or past 2 corpses, for same reason.


And as for Crushing, as you know what to expect mob wise always stock up on a good weapon of you can before you enter a mob room, like get a desert 5, m4/fal *good ranged accuracy*, or rpg/nade launcher.

If you have to shoot from range dont use cover just back up a lil to tak you out and just aim . you still get benefit of cover you just dont have to stick out as much.(only really works for pillars)

Yes grenades are helpful.
Also is M4 and sniper.

Thanks for the tips. Got the platinum last night. I looked up a video on you tube to fight the last boss. Well easy. Just had to hand off the edge of the Platform and shimmy round a different side to him all the time and shoot the sap

I did the same tactic with the first game, and it works wonders on this one as well. Got me through a lot of tough parts. If you do it right, they don't even shoot at you, so you just edge out fire.

you cant use the tweaks on crushing until you beat crushing

I finished off crushing last night. I managed to get through the whole thing only dying on the train and last boss. All the tips above are sound, also I found it made thing very easy if you take out as many soldiers as possible while staying undetected by using stealth kills.

The train is the only hard part really. The rest is all fairly easy even the last boss is easy you just have to run around in a circle.

Ya, the train yard and the train.....they just take the piss out of you. The last boss can be bothersome ...but he's not too bad.....but man the train really sucks on crushing , lol.

I'm on the boss on Crushing, and he is really starting to piss me off.
He just chucks grenades, they make me slow down for a split second and then he shotguns me and I have to start again! ARGH.
