Best weapon combination?

OK so what does everyone think is the best combination of weapons?

at the moment i'm simply using:

Right hand
Left Hand
silver catalyst/ scimitar
Round shield

which is fairly good for dealing magic damage but what my target is:

Right: Meat cleaver/Catalyst
Left: fast hitting sword (don't know which one yet)/ talismin of gods.

Virtually any combination can be great in the right hands and with the right stats so I couldn't say what the best would be but these are what I've used in the past:

Left Primary/Left Secondary ---- Right Primary/Right Secondary

Dark Silver Shield/Viscous Compound Longbow ---- Meat Cleaver/Talisman of Beasts (this was my main weapons setup but I did carry around with me some other weapons to switch out if the situation warranted it)

Kris Knife/Meat Cleaver ---- Talisman of Beasts/Meat Cleaver

Spiked Shield/Purple Flame Shield ---- Spiked Shield/Sharp Uchigatana

Bare Fists/Dark Silver Shield ---- Bare Fists/Blind

[Tykain]

I use Dark Silver Shield / Viscous compound Longbow and Meat Cleaver / Talisman of the beast in most sitiations.

Ok I have got the meat cleaver does anyone know a fast sword that is good?

You can't get much quicker than a dagger really. Although the smaller curved swords are pretty good as are the rapier types. You'll probably find some unique variants on these as well.
As you play through the game you will come across many of these weapons yourself. Best thing is to try some of them out and see if they suit you.
