I reckon it'll be some sort of knife, different to the one in the trailer and the one in the "Hunters" Edition, (both the same knife, but there just 2 different examples of the knife I meant:D)

"Easter Egg" you say....so did you never play the original Jak and Daxter? The strange relic was in fact a Precursor Orb as featured in J+K....also made by Naughty Dog.

i remember exactly where the strange relic was.. :D I dont think its going to be a orb in this game

I think it should be a mask, mainly because of Naughty Dog's other game Crash Bandicoot. If not.... then god knows.

It would be cool if they Strange Relic on Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves is something to do with the Crash Bandicoot series as the first one was the Orb from Jak and Daxter : The Precursor Legacy

its a golden egg with ancient (sp?) letters on it, already picked it up earlier
