but anyways i have seen alot of smoking ad's but this one looks quite extreme so do u think this advert would stop u smoking or u don't really give a toss.

This video made me lol more than anything else. So if you smoke you turn into a human race killing robot? Hell give me a cigarette! :P

Note that I'm just joking, I think smoking is a filthy habit and I would never be tempted to smoke a cigarette.

I hate smoking, its a dirty expensive habbit. It does nothing for people yet they still smoke. Video made me laugh lol, Robot wars would get a few more hits.

That video has to be a joke, I doubt you'd even be allowed to air something like that as a serious campaign.

Oh and btw 20 a day and I'm happy with my filthy habit. If cancer kills me so be it, it's either gonna be that, or cancer caused by 20 other things in life that cause cancer, that or I'll get hit by a car or something.

Oh and I get a head rush and a nice calm, plus I just enjoy it in general, if you got nothing from smoking people wouldn't do it.

I've always thought this a strange attitude. You're basically saying that rather than letting nature take its course, you'd rather massively increase (I won't say guarantee, that'd be daft) the chance of dying of cancer or very serious health complications. Personally I'd much rather take my chances with whatever the world has to throw at me than to almost certainly condemn myself to the common result of smoking that many fags a day.

Lol that advert is kinda dumb i can't imagine it would be too effective at making people want to stop smoking. I think the images on the packets are kinda messed up though they are much more effective they give me the creeps whenver i see them.

Tell me about it, I can put up with most of them, it's all stuff I've come to accept. But the one of the guy with the tumor the size of a bowling ball on his throat is just too much, it doesn't even look real. Although tbh they don't work, most ppl I know (myself included) just cut out or stick something on the creepy images. None of it is really effective since quitting requires the desire to quit, not just fear, only time it stuck for me was cause a long term gf asked me to, picked up a packet the day we broke up though.

That vid was a joke, pretty obvious so i dont think this should be in serious discussion.
I dont smoke and wont probably ever start. But vids like these are just stupid. Most people these days know that smoking is bad, but if they still choose to smoke, let them. its thier choice and people shouldnt try to scare them out of it.
