The artbook looks great, but the strategy guide (at least the pages provided) looks like a compilation from strategies created by fans that are available on the web... kinda ironic when you think about it.

Nice find.

The guide is going to be useful for those people that don't have the net. All five of them...
I don't honestly know what I was expecting from the guide to be honest but pages of lists with 50% of the page as background graphics and information that is repeated several times wouldn't be top of the list, that's for sure.

The NPC character descriptions could be expanded, I'm sure. One or two sentences per character really doesn't do them justice.
Oh and I always thought the remaining Monumental was female.
Crestfallen Warrior does not leave behind a blue flame either. It is golden just like every enemy that drops anything. :)
I also did a double take with the Double-Winged Hawk Girl AKA the Crow.

Maybe the book cover should be printed with:
"This is harsh. Evaluate me."

Yes Guide looks dissapointing already! And the Crow... that's the most crow-sounding hauw I have ever heard lols.

The Monumental is meant to be ambiguous in its gender. As is Mephistopheles, haha.

Ah. Now Mephistopheles I did think was a girlie. Partly because of her voice and partly because the clothes she wears are only equippable by females.
It's interesting to learn that she wasn't supposed to be so apparent.
